Chapter Seventeen

"You are my sunshine...my little sunshine...you make me happy when skies are gray...you'll never know dear how much I love you....please don't take my sunshine away" I sang softly rubbing my belly. I was 2 weeks pregnant when I found out I was actually pregnant. Two weeks and I din't know there was a little me..inside me.

"You sound beautiful..." I heard a voice say. I didn't have to turn around to know who's voice it was..

Achak

I stayed on the bed..my back was facing the door, and I laid on my side. Not a inch of me moved as he walked closer to the bed.

"Charity" I heard him say. My eyes closed as I felt him come closer.

"Leave me alone" i said.

"Charity let me explain" he said.

I sat up on the bed and stared at him.

"I'll raise my baby without you....if that's what you want...if you can't love him or her I will raise by myself. And I'll do a bloody good job!" I said with tears rolling down my face.

"No charity stop!!" he said, I felt him push me back gently on the bed. he hovered over me and thats when i looked up at his face.

I saw the dark circles under his eyes. I saw the redness in his eyes. The purple bruises on his face, probably from punching himself. I saw the tears falling down his cheeks.

"What did you do?" i asked softly. I reached up to touch one of the bruises...

"I'm sorry....so sorry" he said. 

"get off of me" I said.

"Let me explain" he said. I looked to the side and looked away.

"I....I told you about my family...I just... I don't know what to do...I have no idea how to even take care....I'm scared okay.... i don't know how to deal with taking care of someone else or even protect someone else. I walked away out of fear and I'm sorry....i want our baby but...I'm just scared." he said crying.

I looked at him at this point. Tears filled my eyes too...

"I'm scared too....but you can't just leave me like that. I do not want you to walk away...." I mumbled.

"I wont....Im sorry...Please" he said looking down at me. I nodded.

"You're forgiven.." I said softly. He smiled a happy smile so bright I couldn't help but smiling back.

I was still on my back as he raised my shirt and and placed a kiss on my belly.

  "You are my sunshine...my little sunshine...you make me happy when skies are gray...you'll never know dear how much I love you....please don't take my sunshine away"  Achak sang rubbing my tummy. I couldn't help but smile a bit.

I didn't realize I had dozed off until I woke up to Achak carrying me to the  bathroom. I opened my eyes to see him enter the bathroom which was very dark. I gasped as the bathtub was filled with water and rose petals were put in the water and on the floor. Candle lights filled the room and I couldn't help but stare at the beauty. I let Achak put me down and take off my clothes. He kissed my legs as he took off my sweats and kissed my back as he pulled off my shirt.

He took off his clothes and placed a small kiss on my forehead.

"This is beautiful...thank you" I said kissing his cheek.

"It's the least i can do baby" he said.

I got in first with him right behind me. We stayed there for I don't know how long, we talked about everything, laughed at everything...even came up with some baby names.

We both hoped it was a little girl but we would still love a boy the same. By the time we got out we were practically prunes and our skin was so soft. It was one of the most relaxing nights ever.

I wouldn't have it any other way.
