MISSING: BARBARA HOLLAND

DIANA TIPPED the beer can and tasted the alcohol go down her throat, making a face once the after taste was still in her mouth. She bobbed her head to the left and right as a rock song played softly in the background, Carol and Tommy were dancing while Steve then grabbed a knife and a can for himself. He made a big enough hole in the can and quickly put it to his lips, Nancy watching his every move. Diana raised her brows and shook her head as did Barb, Carol and Tommy watched also and cheered Steve on. Diana then drank the last of her alcoholic beverage in the can and put it near the lawn chairs she was sitting on. Steve was then done chugging the beer and he squished the empty can before dropping it to the ground.

Nancy was surprised and leaned in a bit, "Was that suppose to impress me?" Diana rolled her eyes and wishing she'd have another can with her.

"You're not?" Steve had an unlit cigarette in his mouth, lighter in his hand.

"You are a cliché you realize that?" Nancy says to Steve, raising her brows and her shoulders up.

Steve threw his hands up to his sides and held onto his lighter. "You're a cliché, with your perfect grades and band practice." he shrugged his shoulders and Diana furrowed her brows.

"She's not in band." Diana spoke up and looked at both teens. Steve looked at the two brunettes and Nancy agreed to Diana's sentence by nodding her head and motioning to Steve. The boy then grabs a beer can and the knife to Nancy, causing her to take it in her own hands.

"Alright, party girl," he says. "Show us how it's done." he challenges and the couple behind them was intrigued, seeing how the perfect girl can hand the alcohol.

Barb was sitting next to Nancy's lawn chair trying to see what her best friend was doing and Nancy was thinking about doing the same thing Steve just did moments ago. She grabbed a can from Steve and Steve handed her the knife. Diana watched her moves and so did Barb, they were both worried for their best friend. Trying so hard to fit in with the cool kids.

Steve then egged on the tiny brunette along with Tommy and Carol, the two friends kept quiet as they watched their best friend. Nancy then finished the whole can and did the same thing Steve did, squished the can and threw it to the ground. Putting her hands up and the three friends cheered her on. Nancy then put the knife down next to her and felt proud of herself.

Diana and Barb felt sorry for the girl but then Nancy looked at Barb, smiling and grabbed an unopened beer and handed it to her.

"Why don't you try, Barb?" Nancy asks and Barb shook her head.

"No thanks, I'm good." Barb pushes up her glasses and kept her hands to herself.

"Awe, c'mon–" Nancy then got cut off by Diana.

"I, uh.." Diana scratched the back of her head and stood up from her seat. This is crazy, don't do th–. "I can try." she finishes her sentence, Nancy and the rest of the teens were surprised by the tall girls cut off. Tommy nudged Carols shoulder and Carol looked up at her annoying boyfriend, Tommy leaned down and whispered in his snobby girlfriend.

"Alright, here you go," Steve handed her a cold beer can and Nancy handed her the knife. "Just make a hole–"

"I got it, I know how to do it." Diana told Steve in a harsh tone, making Steve to put his arms up. The girl didn't know what she was doing but she loved it. She finally made a hole and quickly put the can to her mouth and chugged the whole can. During chugging, Barb couldn't believe her eyes, both of her friends were "trying" to act cool but instead, only one of them tried.
