CHAPTER SEVEN;

THE BATHTUB

DIANA WAS WALKING BY the school until she saw familiar cars in the parking lot. She walked faster and saw that no one was in them, she then heard faint talking. She went to the door and saw Nancy and Jonathan on the floor, in the middle of the tiger decal that was painted on the wall. She opened the door and it made the two teens pull away quickly.

"Ana?" "Diana?" Nancy and Jonathan both say her name. The tall girl walked over to them and the other two teenagers stood up.

"Hi," Diana just says to her best friend and use to be best friend. "What are you guys doing here?"

"It's a long story but I know someone who can find Barb!" Nancy tells her best friend, Diana stood up straight and became more interested in who will find Barb.

"Really? Who?" Diana asked but then heard swearing and looked at her best friend.

"They're in there." Jonathan points towards the gymnasium and she walked towards it.

"They'll explain?" she asked both teens and they both nod their heads.

Diana smiled and couldn't wait to finally see Barb. But she still has to wait.. To see if her best friend is actually alive or not. That's the part she's afraid of.

"One, two, three," Diana heard Lucas Sinclair say, she furrowed her brows and saw Dustin Henderson do the same as Lucas, trying to put up a flimsy pool... In the middle of the gymnasium.

"Shit!" Dustin curses, seeing Diana walking towards them. He smiles and so does Diana.

"Boys, what're you trying to do?" Diana asked the two younger boys that's Mike's age.

"As you can see, we're trying to put up this stupid thing." Dustin exclaims, motioning his hands towards the pool.

"Here, let me help." Diana jogs over to the boys and they all try and put the pool sides up for the water to stay inside.

"Son of a bitch," Dustin curses again, causing Diana to chuckle at the boy.

Once they all got the pool on its side, Nancy and Mike came in with hoses in a wheelbarrow and she smiled at them.

"Well, we finally got the pool up!" Diana tells the younger brother of her best friend's sister.

"Great, now all we need is to fill it up at the right temperature, put a lot of salt in it and have El to-"

"El? Who's El?" Diana cuts off Mike and he puts down the red hose next to the wheelbarrow.

"She's the one who can find Will and your friend Barbara," Mike says to Diana.

Diana smiles looks around the gym. "Where is she?" she asks Mike, Dustin and Lucas were talking to each other and one of them run off somewhere.

"She's probably with Joyce, she said she'll find something that could cover her eyes." Nancy butts in, Diana nods her head and looks at the hoses.

"Shall we get started then?" Diana asks and in comes the Chief, Jim Hopper, Joyce and a girl, Jonathan right behind them, rolling a trolley full of white bags that said DE-ICING SALT. Diana examines the girl beside Joyce, the girl has a shaved head but it was growing out and she was wearing a familiar pink dress with a blue jacket and seems like she was wearing Mike's socks.
