Not Too Close For Comfort

Coffee Shop

Elizavon's POV

I got to the coffee shop a bit early. As I was sitting there waiting for my friends, someone walked in and I noticed it was Alex.
I jumped up out of my seat and ran up to Alex. I tapped her on the shoulder, as soon as she realized it was me we pulled each other into a big hug.

"I'm so happy to see you, Elizavon"
"I'm happy to see you too! Why are you here so early though?"
"Me? Because I live a few blocks down the street, remember?"
"Oh, yeah."
"Now, if I may ask, why are you here so early?"
"I don't know, guess I had nothing else to do."
"Same"

As we waited there for the others we heard someone open the door and we heard loud laughing. It was Clairabell and Rydiyn.
They noticed us right away, smiled and ran over to us.

We jumped up and we all gave each other a hug. Rydiyn complimented my outfit and I gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek.

"I'm so happy to see you guys again, it feels like it's been forever" I said.
"I know right!" exclaimed Clairabell.
"I've missed you guys so much" said Rydiyn.
"You all look stunning" Alex said, changing the subject.
"Thank you!" the three of us said simultaneously.
"No problem" Alex said with a big smile.

We sat there waiting for Kero and Iridessa as Kero walked through the door. Rydiyn saw him and waved at him. Kero smiled and walked over.

"Hi Kero" Rydiyn said.
"Hey, babe" Kero said and then kissed Rydiyn.
"What's going on here?" Alex asked.
"Didn't Clairabell or Elizavon tell you that Rydiyn and I started dating over the summer?" asked Kero
"No" Alex said in reply.
"Oh, they should've" said Rydiyn.
"Well, I'm happy for you guys!" exclaimed Alex.
"Thanks" said Kero
"Yes, thank you" Rydiyn said, eyeing Clairabell.
"You're so very welcome!" Alex said with a raised voice volume.

After a few minutes, Iridessa barged through the door and came over to us.

"I'm so sorry I'm late" she said
"It's okay" Alex said

We gave Iridessa a hug and told her we missed her and her wity jokes.

We all got to talking about our individual summers and how great they were as Clairabell noticed we were all going to be late if we didn't leave soon. And so after 10 more minutes of conversation about our summers and how cute Rydiyn and Kero are together, we left.
