Questioning Love

Clairabell's POV

Tonight I'm having a sleepover with Rydiyn and Alex. I'm excited about this but also kinda scared in a way because they said they wanted to have a "girls night" and talk about our love lives.

I finally arrived at Rydiyn's house and Alex was already there, they were waiting on his front porch for me.

"We've been waiting here for 20 minutes! What took so long?!" Rydiyn asked.
"Sorry, I was packing" I explained.
"It's okay but you could've at least texted one of us that you were going to be late" said Alex.
"Whatever" I said, clearly annoyed and not going to argue.

So the night went on. We all planned to stay awake all night despite that we had school in the morning.

"Okay, tell us everything!" said Alex excitedly.
"About what?" I asked.
"About you and Elizavon! You two are obviously dating!" Rydiyn blurted out.
"Okay, first of all we aren't dating and second of all there's nothing to tell, I like her but she obviously doesn't feel the same." I said mentally face palming at what I had just said.
"Wait what? You like her?!" asked Alex
"Of course she likes her, it's so obvious!" exclaimed Rydiyn.
"It's not that obvious" I said.
"Yes it is" corrected Rydiyn.
"You two would be so cute together! I'm already imagining your wedding ceremony, you have to let me design your dress!" said Alex dreamily.
"Hold it! I'm not even sure she likes me or wants to be my girlfriend let alone being my wife one day!" I exclaimed.
"You really want to be her wife one day?" questioned Rydiyn.
"I don't know, okay, can we please just stop talking about this for a little bit?" I asked.
"Sure, I guess we could watch a movie or something." said Rydiyn.
"What movie are we going to watch then?" asked Alex.
"I don't know I was thinking something Disney" said Rydiyn.
"How about Harry Potter! I know we all love Harry Potter" I exclaimed.
"Okay I'm down for that but which HP movie?" Alex asked.
"Chamber of Secrets?" suggested Rydiyn.
"Yes! I love that one!" I exclaimed.
"Looks like we're watching that then" said Alex.

And so we got in our pajamas and snuggled up together on Rydiyn's bed and watched Harry Potter.

As they watched the movie Alex fell asleep and so did Rydiyn, and Clairabell was left awake and alone with her thoughts. Clairabell tried very hard to go to sleep so she wasn't just with her thoughts. She tossed and turned all night until she finally got to sleep around 3 am. Suddenly she awoke an hour later trenched in sweat and tears probably from a nightmare. Looks like Clairabell wasn't going to get any sleep that night.

As Alex was the first to wake up she noticed me sitting on the floor in a corner on my phone.

"Morning Clairabell" Alex said, startling me.
"Oh my god! You scared me, don't do that!" I whisper shouted trying to be as quiet as possible so I don't wake Rydiyn.
"Sorry" Alex said apologetically.
"Its fine"
"How long have you been awake?"
"Practically all night"
"Why didn't you go to sleep?"
"Wasn't tired"
"Okay...then"
"Mmm, what time is it?" asked Rydiyn as he woke up.
"Almost 5 in the morning" answered Alex.
"Why are you guys up so early?" Rydiyn asked sleepily.
"To be honest, I'm not sure" said Alex.
"I've been awake all night" I said.
"Why?" asked Rydiyn.
"To put it simply, I wasn't tired" I lied.
"Oh, well I'm going back to sleep so I can be awake in school today" Rydiyn stated.
"Yeah, same. Wake us up in a little bit for school?" Alex asked.
"Sure" I answered.

And with that they went back to sleep.
