~ 3rd Person POV ~

Eridan Ampora and Sollux Captor are currently in a kismesis quadrant together. Their hate bubbles so black in their hearts it's unbearable for them. So every once in a while they have to let off steam and just hang out, in a black way of course. As in they both end up with a couple black eyes and a swollen fist for each.

But lately Eridan has been feeling down and they aren't hanging out much which then trolls will think they broke up which isn't good so Sollux knows he has to do something about this situation soon.

~ Eridan's POV ~

I have been hiding in my room for the last week. No food. Soda not water. Nothing but tears and my hoodie that I stole from my Kismesis. It smelt like him, don't judge. Yeah, I know, it's not usually something that you do in a black relationship but maybe I don't want to be in a black one with him.. lately I've been thinking about him more and what would happen if we had become matesprits instead.. I always end up more depressed though. Cronus and my friends have been getting worried but I can't help feeling like maybe this isn't right. Every time I see him I melt, when we fight it hurts and every insult cuts deeper then my blade. I truly do feel red for him, I guess I always have but mistook it for black because he always leaned that way..

~ Sollux's POV ~

Fishdick has been acting weird.. I decided to head to his hive to check up on him. We may be in a black quadrant but I don't want him to be dead or anything so why not pull him out of his slump with a good name calling battle or some stupid shit. Plus trolls are starting to talk and I need to beat him up for that, I hate being talked about.

I arrive at his hive and try to open the door, only to find it locked. I pound on the door yelling, "open up thiit fathe!!" I wait a little while then try again. No answer. "Oh my fuckiing gog, Ii'm goiing to kiill hiim!!" I walk around his hive till I reach his window, and then peak through the window. He's just laying on his bed staring at the ceiling. I open the window and climb through. "Hey fucker, Ii knocked!!" "Hey sol. Wwhat do you wwant?" "For you two not embarrathed me!! Everybody iith gothiipiing about uth!!" He just sighed, "Get out sol." "Nah ii'm good." I walk to his bed and lay across him boringly. He groaned, "get off fatass!!" "My ath aiin't fat you bulge!!" He doesn't respond. He wraps his arms around my chest and pulls me to lay correctly beside him.

~ Eridan's POV ~

I pull him up by me and tighten my grip, pulling him closer. I stuff my face in his chest and sniff. Smells like him- oh wait it is him.. fuck!! I push him away quickly, accidentally falling off the bed. I get up quickly yelling, "oh my cod I'm sorry!! I don't knoww wwhy I did that!! Oh cod I'm an idiot," I stuff my face in my hands mumbling how much of a moron I am.

~ 3rd Person POV ~

Sollux was blushing a deep gold color thinking, 'what just happened??'. He yawned then rolled his eyes. He grabs onto Eri's waist and yanks him back down. Eridan yips adorablely (because my eri is adorabubble!!) and falls on Sollux's chest. He mumbles a few more sorry's sitting up. Sollux just sighed and sat up too, hugging Eridan, while Eri is surprised Sollux lays down on his side, taking Eridan with him. They just stay like that for awhile till Eridan breaks the silence. "I'm sorry..." "oh my gog ED!! Thtop thayiing your thorry! You have nothiing two bee thorry for!!" "Yes I do.." "well then tell me!! Cauthe I thure don't remember you doiing anything that bad that you haven't already thaid-"

"I'm red for you." Eridan stated simply. "Holy thit... Really?!!?" Sollux half yelled. "yes.. I'm sor-" sollux cut him off by kissing him. When he pulled away he hugged him tight and whispered in his ear, "I'm red for you two athhat. I'm sorry I didn't say express that till now.." "I really hated being in a black quadrant Sol.." "Me too ED."

Sollux then sat down on the bed, scooting to the wall then reaching his arms out for Eridan. Eri practically jumped into his arms, hugging tightly, but gently, as to not hurt his red flush-crush.

".. Hey Sol..? Are we Matesprites noww??" "Of course!!"

They then just cuddled in each other's arms till they both fell asleep, happier than they had ever been before.
