Another five days have passed

Hoseok was behind his glass barrier again, this time it was in a bedroom which, judging by the posters on the wall and the school books on the desk, he was guessing was teenage Jimin's room. He laughed at the Taeyang poster over the boy's desk, and the Big Bang Light Stick in the pencil holder on the bedside cabinet. He knew Jimin was a fan of Big Bang but he had no idea the boy was a certified VIP. Glancing around hoping to spot grown-up Jimin to tease him about being a fanboy, but there was no one else behind the barrier.

He tapped his foot, waiting for the new memory to begin. He didn't have long to wait, the door to the room burst open and a mid-teen version of Jimin spun into the room, executing a blinding series of spins and leaps, landing gracefully on his bed. He was followed by another boy, this one was blonde, who was giggling at Jimin's display as he jumped on the bed beside the dark haired dancer. Hoseok checked out the blonde boy, realising that he knew him. This was the boy who Jimin had to have admitted into Rehab.

Hoseok smiled as he watched the boys crawl back on the bed so their backs were against the headboard, and they started to play a game on Jimin's phone. Hoseok wasn't sure why he was being shown such a happy memory, considering the last ones were so awful, but he wasn't going to complain too much.

As he watched, Jimin lost the game and threw the phone across the room. The two boys laughed, and playfully pushed each other, which led to them tickling each other, trying to get the other to surrender. Hoseok watched as they got closer and closer to each other and the laughter slowed to a stop with the blonde boy sitting on Jimin's lap. Jimin's his hands were still on the light haired boys sides, prepared to start the tickling war once more. The blonde was staring at his friend, slowly taking Jimin's face between his hands, and planting his lips firmly on the others lips. Jimin looked surprised, but his eyes closed and he melted into the other boys kiss. His hands buried themselves in the blondes hair, as he tilted his head and deepened the kiss.

"Woah – Jimin" Hoseok said under his breath, secretly impressed, and strangely a little hot.

"Wow, I forgot how hot he was" grown up Jimin said from behind Hoseok. The red head spun round to see the pink haired boy with his arms crossed, leaning against the bedroom wall. His face was still blank, showing no emotion at all, but Hoseok had heard the sadness and longing in his voice.

"That's Jiyoung isn't it?" He asked pointing through the barrier. Jimin nodded, unable to tear his eyes from the two boys sitting on the bed.

"He was my first friend you know. My BEST friend. I've known him since I was three years old, and he was always part of my life." He slowly stepped forward, reaching out with one of his hands, until it was pressed against the glass.

Watching the younger Jimin started to creep Hoseok out, so he turned his back to them and stared at the grown up version instead.

"He loved me, I mean he really LOVED me. And he just loved me for me... he was always there when I needed him..." Jimin was talking to himself "But I wasn't there when he needed me...." his hand dropped down the glass and he was silent for a moment "This was my first kiss. Despite everything, I'm still so happy that it was with him."

The boys continued to kiss, young Jimin's hands trailing down to grip the blondes hips and pulling him closer to his body. Hoseok stared at the side of Jimin's face as the pink haired boy watched the boys through the glass.

"Wait...are you actually gay?"

Jimin laughed a little but there was no humour in it, "Bi-sexual actually – but not really the point here Hyung"

A door slammed downstairs and Jimin's head whipped to the bedroom door.

"Shit! I know what this is." He grabbed Hoseok's arm and tried to pull the older boy in front of him.

"Hobi – I don't want to be here! Wake me up! Please Wake me UP!!!"

Hoseok stared at Jimin, watching as pain flooded his eyes. "I don't know how Jimin"

"Shake me, hit me, kick me I don't care – but I need to wake up" Jimin's hands had tightened around his arm, but Hobi could only stare at him.

Jimin scrunched his eyes closed "Please wake up!" he begged but it was too late, the bedroom door slammed open, and Jimin's father was staring at the two boys.

He didn't say anything, he just grabbed the blonde boy and threw him across the room. The boy's head slammed into the side of Jimin's cabinet and he slumped to the floor dazed and bleeding. Jimin's father pulled his arm back and slapped Jimin. Grabbing his arm, he hauled the boy onto the floor slapping him again and again.

Jiyoung groaned from where he was and the older man looked over to him. Pulling Jimin's head up by the hair, he made Jimin clamber onto his knees - staring at his friend.

"That thing is not a person" his father growled in his ear, still holding his hair

He released Jimin's head, storming over to the blonde boy huddled against the wall, and kicking him in the chest as he tried to straighten up. JiYoung flung his hands out, but Jimin's father grabbed his wrist and pulled his hand to the floor before stepping on the boy's fingers, putting all of his weight onto his foot, and listening to the boy screaming in pain as bones cracked.

Both versions of Jimin screamed. The older version was crouched behind JiYoung, pounding on the glass that was separating him from his friend, as the younger version struggled to pull his father off his friend.

Hoseok woke up to Jimin screaming in the bed next to him. Rushing over, he gathered the tiny boy into his arms, curling around the pink haired boy, and wrapping him in his arms as tightly as he could.
