three

When Perci had been sent from Order, brainwashed and with a taste for blood, the fight between herself and Diana had come to an almost instantaneous end due to the Amazon's fear and hesitation. This spar right now would be the first in six months since being freed from the primordial's grasp. The screaming of metal against metal deafened everyone.

Diana leaned in slightly, faint amusement drifting in and out of her chocolate brown eyes, "What have my sisters taught you?"

The Daughter of Zeus slipped Riptide from her sword and swung it down in a heavy slice, that would have been deadly if it Perci had not parried it with ease. All the while, the blades of Celestial bronze shrieking and making the other heroes wince.

The younger woman shrugged a shoulder and smirked mischievously, "Guess you gotta find out, huh?"

Her simple and carefree remark in such a situation made Diana grin. Their dance of death however did not last long, as Perci soon had her cousin gasping for breath with the sharpened edge of her her blade, pressed against her throat.

A strained chuckle left her mouth and the Amazon tapped out, accepting her own defeat. But, just as the Saviour released her cousin, Diana leaned up, a dagger now pushed dangerously into the flesh beneath Perci's rib cage, make the Daughter of Poseidon groan.

Though not drawing blood, it still bloody hurt. But the sea green eyed woman almost face palmed.

"You know, if this was an actual fight, I would've killed you, therefore not having to worry about you stabbing me in the guts." Diana smirked.

"I know." The younger woman huffed.

Then a spark of something flickered in her eyes, that the Amazon definitely didn't like. With another, but darker smirk, Perci took hold of the steel dagger. She caressed it softly, almost like a mother held her child's hand. Too fascinated to even imagine what she was doing, Diana stared, transfixed.

The room fell silent as everyone watched the cool silver blade, heated and glow a precious red. The Amazon yelped and threw the weapon across the room, blowing on her hand.

Perci thought this was hilarious. Watching 'Wonder Woman' wave her hand about to cool the sizzling palm of hand.

The Princess of the Amazons pouted, looking very childish. But the young demigoddess simply smiled, until she took hold of the burned hand. She summoned the water from the air and used them to knit the damaged skin and tissue back to together, all the while healing and numbing Diana's hand.

Whilst watching two of the most powerful people they'd ever met, the members of the Justice League and those of Young Justice, wondered what was about to happen. Most didn't know what to think, believing them only to be training for a small task that had been set for them.

Only three knew what was to come.

Dick, Arthur and Kaldur watched with worry and fear in their eyes. Chaos had declared that the fate of the world rested on the shoulders of two demigoddesses. All three knew of the women's hardships and neither could see themselves doing any of it.

If any respect was to ever be given, it was to Persephone Jackson and Diana Prince.

Diana and Perci took a few steps backwards to once again face each other, ready for round two.  The chocolate eyed woman raised an eyebrow and with a quirk from her lips, lifted one arm.

Perci swallowed the lump in her throat and fiercely stabbed the concrete floor with Riptide, just as the Amazon slammed her wrist guards together. The force of the powerful impact would have thrown anyone across the room, but not the Saviour.

White knuckled, Perci held on to her embedded sword, softly groaning with the strain of such a blast. She almost sighed with relief, but instead chose to glare at her cousin who looked at her with a mall spark of shock.

She even flinched under the intense gaze.

A glimmer of a smirk touched the Daughter of Poseidon's lips. Perci twisted her glowing blade in the ground, causing the cave to shake and making the concrete to open with an ear splitting crack.

The heroes present fell over and most made a sound of fear when they witnessed water erupt from the torn floor. It rose and seemingly grabbed the Amazon, before she could even react. The liquid froze solid and Diana gave Perci an unimpressed look.

Said Demigoddess only grinned.

Training had finished and Dick had slipped away to lean against the wall opposite Perci's door. He had to do this. The black haired beauty didn't need to worry about him. Not with what she already has to deal with. He had heard her cry to Diana, both their voices were muffled, but he heard her sobs.

Dick wasn't petty, he wasn't. But they had to talk.

The blue eyed man looked up when he heard her footsteps... And two voices? Nightwing's brow creased slightly when he saw M'ghann floating alongside Perci.

The red head was asking the demigoddess for some lessons, seeing as she could only use her mind and sometimes it just wasn't enough.

The unnoticed man's mouth quirked up into a smile when Perci readily agreed. Their conversation stopped when they reached her door, finally seeing Dick.

Perci's face lit up with a brilliant smile. However the Martian gave him a dirty look before bidding the Saviour a goodbye. When M'ghann was out of sight, he took a deep breath and fully face the woman who made his heart beat erratically.

"Perci." The tone of his deep voice made her smile slowly fade, "I can't do this any more."

Her face turned almost childlike when she whispered, "What?"

Dick was lying through his teeth as he said, "I can't see you everyday and hope something will happen."

Again Perci whispered, "I don't understand."

Rapidly in his mind, Dick was screaming, I love you! I need you!! I can't live without you!!! I love you!!!! "I'm in love someone else."

Dick felt his heart break when the demigoddess's face crumbled. He wanted to hold her tight when her eyes welled with tears. He wanted to kiss her quivering lips until he could see her bright smile once more.

The hall they stood in seemed to drop in temperature when her face turned stony. A tear trailed down her cheek.

Dick watched as Perci clenched her jaw. The Saviour tilted her head forward so he couldn't see her face or the new tears that fell from her now cloudy, sea green eyes.

The blue eyed man barely heard her whisper, "Okay."

Abruptly she spun on her heel. Perci Jackson took six steps before she turned her head to look at the man who had just shattered her heart.

Self hate tore at his soul when the love of his life covered her mouth to hold back the sob bubbling in her throat, "Okay." She whispered.

Then she was gone.
