It took all the strength Perci had to not run to Diana. She wouldn't run. She wouldn't.

Now in the main room of the Cave, Perci caught sight of Diana talking with Connor. The Amazon had her mouth covered with one hand and shock in her eyes. The clone of Superman had his shoulders slumped in defeat.

Perci slowed to a stop and the two turned to face her. Immediately, Connor's shoulders were tense, a slash of anger now on his face. Diana's was different. Full of pity and sadness.

Not something the demigoddess could deal with today. Not right now.

The Kryptonian clenched his fists, visibly trying his hardest to control his anger. The woman surged forward to hug him when his blue eyes started to turn red with his heat vision.

Again Connor tensed, but relaxed in her comforting embrace, "I'll kill him." He murmured.

Perci shook her head and buried her face into his broad chest, "No."

"Can I at least break a bone?" Connor's innocent tone made the demigoddess smirk.

She leaned back and punched his chest hard, knowing full well that it wouldn't hurt the man. He gave her a tight smile and hugged her again.

Perci sniffled and began to shake, while the Kryptonian held together her broken pieces.

Diana could only stand there, waiting for her turn. Eventually the demigoddess turned to her, out of Connor's hug, but his arm slung over her shoulder.

The Amazon, already close enough to touch, cupped Perci's cheeks, "You want to leave again." She said, it wasn't a question.

The Saviour just nodded.

"Where?"

"Themyscira." Perci answered.

The Daughter of the Skies simply nodded and held her hand out to the Zeta Beam, "I'll be there soon."

The Daughter of the Seas turned back to Connor and kissed his cheek, "See ya big guy."

With an almost defeated look, his shoulders once again slumped. Perci was the only one who he didn't have to restrain his strength against. She could take it. And he would miss her.

One more hug, and the Heroine of Olympus stepped into the Zeta Beam, "I'll be right back."

Connor just closed his eyes and sighed.

Right as Perci arrived on the Amazonian Island, there stood Hippolyta. She too, wore a sympathetic look. The Queen opened her arms and the demigoddess did run.

She needed a mother's warmth, her own not enough.

The Justice League were gathered in a meeting room, discussing the sudden appearances of massive dogs and gigantic men roaming the streets, terrifying the public. They seemed to be closing in on Mount Justice and none had any idea why.
