To Be Perfectly Candid

Preface

Thank you all for choosing to look at this book, called To Be Perfectly Candid. There are just some things I have to tell you before you take a sneak peek inside this adventure.

First of all, I'm not particularly good at writing, or humor, so if you find unexplained twists, jokes that don't make sense and other things, then I'm truly sorry for that. I just hope that you would at least enjoy the book.

Secondly, there isn't exactly a plot. Each part is one individual adventure after the other, for example, one day we'll be talking about pedicures and the next day the characters would celebrate New Year's Eve, etc. However, there will be a sort of sequence, that means if one specific detail is mentioned, then that detail can't be modified according to the story during the rest of the book. You can see this in TV shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine or even Dora, idk.

Does that make sense?

Okay.

So what I mean is that each part is an individual story. Voila, I hope that helps you. However, the timeframe will remain constant, that means I can't just go from Candid in high school to him as a kindergartener and then him when he's, like, 30. That would just give you, and me a headache! (There WILL be some flashbacks though, just to warn you.)

Third of all, each story will be a bit different. I'm the author, of course, but that doesn't mean I don't like feedback. Every 30 stories or so ('cause I'm SO not planning on finishing this book), I will send a part where I would ask you questions like how you feel about the book so far or what you think I can improve (because believe me. I need it). You can even give out your ideas, like what I would talk about next for the next chapters and blah blah. You know what? You don't even need to WAIT 'til I send out the part! Just comment whenever you'd like.

And lastly, themes. I know this is supposed to be teen fiction, but I'm discovering a large variety of book genres that I'm not exactly proficient in a specific one. And like I said, I'm not that great, but I just write these things for fun! So I honestly could care less about sticking to a specific genre! Anyway, there will be humor, very terrible jokes, so pardon me. I don't personally think there will be any sexual themes, since you probably would have guessed that I'm not good at that either, but there is ONE thing I AM certain of: NO SEX SCENES!! AND I MEAN EVER!!! Sorry (not sorry) guys, I need to keep in PG-13.

So I think that's it, then. Once again, if you have any questions, comments and/or ideas, please feel free to type. If I've missed anything, then I'll just type it in the notices that might pop up throughout the book.
