26: Recovery

It's been days since the episode on Sogyoku Hill that got everyone shook to their bones. Unohana, with the help of Inoue and Muracho, managed to stabilize and repair all the damaged tissues on Yuki. The Scarlet Sisters also managed to repair her eye which is now very different from what she had.

More secrets were revealed like the true connection between Byakuya and Rukia and the knowledge that a very powerful stone was hidden inside Rukia's gigai that she got from Kisuke.

Everyone in Seiretei are also briefed about the two new creatures they have encountered through the Captain Commander himself. He informed them of demons and the basic information on them.

The ryoka group managed to form a somewhat alliance with Seiretei and returned back to their world after all the drama.

Right now, in the Squad 4 barracks, a certain feline sat down on her bed while gazing outside her window. On her lap is a winged stuffed cat silently slumbering and hovering behind her is a winged stuffed rabbit making braids with her hair.

Yuki woke up after 10 days in a coma. She awoke to white walls and ceilings with faces surrounding her. The first one she saw was Toshiro, who along with Rukia, stayed with her all those times with the others visiting often. Yuki insisted that she feels fine and at her prime now but the Captain Commander doesn't want to take any chances so he asked Yuki to stay for another day or two at Squad 4. Yuki begrudgingly 

"How are you Mistress? Nothing hurts?" Flandre said from behind her.

Yuki touched her patched right eye and managed a smile.

"No. Nothing hurts." She answered and stroked Remilia's head

"Are you sure? We don't want you screaming in the middle of the night again because of something." The cat mumbled from her sleepy state and raised her head up

"Do you know how much of a bother that is?" She added with a sly smirk

Yuki chuckled a little and bopped Remilia's nose.

"I'm fine. Muracho already finished healing me so no need to worry."

At the mention of the zanpakuto's name, Flandre and Remilia gave each knowing looks and a frown. Seems like their mistress is oblivious.

The door to Yuki's room opened and Unohana, followed by Isane holding a tray of food, entered.

"Good morning, Yuki." The captain greeted her and sat down on a chair beside her bed

"Good morning, Unohana-san, Isane nee-chan." Yuki greeted them and the two stuffed toys landed on her shoulders

"Good morning too, Remilia, Flandre." Unohana greeted the two

"Tch, don't get so familiar, shinigami."

"Greetings as well, squad captain."

"Will I be discharged now?" Yuki asked Unohana as Isane placed the tray of food on her lap

"Well, after we run a few more tests on you and they show favorable results, you can be discharged." Unohana said as she watch the trio happily dig in their food

"Okay. I wish I can go out now. It's a little boring here not doing anything. And also I miss my bed." Yuki said with a pout and ear scratch

Unohana gave a quiet laugh and patted Yuki's head.

"You know what to do if you wanna recover quickly, don't you?"

Yuki nodded her head as a she scooped a huge portion of her pudding.

A knock on the door was heard and all of the attention was directed towards the person standing at the doorway.

"Ara ara, you really are diligent in visiting Yuki, Captain Hitsugaya. You even brought fruits this time." Flandre said in a teasing tone as she hovered towards him
