[ Jungkook's Pov ]

We ordered our coffee and sat down at a table for two, he sat across from me and I kept my eyes on his, well...his bangs were covering his eyes but I knew he was looking at me too, I could feel it.  

"So....Tell me." I nodded at him and he pursed his lips before starting to talk. 

"Well, me and my group of friends were on a mini tour to Seoul, we attended an underground competition called "Seoul Ground",  silly name I know, but it's what the people who held the competition wanted to call it....But anyway, my group was 5th, when it was our turn more people began to come in to watch.  It got to my part, I was doing the rapping part, you see.....Then I looked over the crowd and saw some men in suits." I nodded and continued listening.

"At first I thought they were some kind of mafia people, probably here to start trouble, but then he looked up....Bang Shi Hyuk, my heart nearly beat out of my chest.  I knew who he was because I am a fan of BTS, no I am not one of those really hyped fans that will freak out, as you can see I am calm around you all, right?" I nodded at him. "Well, when I was done, Bang Shi Hyuk approached me whilst I was wiping my sweat off of my neck, the first thing he said was... 'Hey tall boy! You was really good out there, I am looking for good talent like you!' at first I was confused, I asked 'Talent? Are you making a new group Mr Hyuk?' He shook his head at me and smiled widely, 'Looking for an 8th member of BTS and I think I found him, you!'  I was going to reject at first because....My friend, what about them?  They spoke to me and told me to go, live my life and just do it! You know?  They wanted what was best for me." He continued on but I stopped him half way.  

"You have really good friends,  they sound very supportive..." I said and sipped at my coffee, I noticed he hasn't drunk any of his yet. "Drink some coffee before it gets cold." He nodded and did as he was told. "Continue." I said.

"Right, so then...Bang Shi Hyuk was excited when I told him I would do it, so excited he pulled me out from the place and up the stairs until we reached the streets--" I put my hand up again to catch his attention, "How did Bang Shi Hyuk know where you was?" I asked. 

"Oh, I will get to that in a minute. But anyway, he let me go when we was out of the stuffy room and he got a proper look at me, since it was slightly dark in there due to the show lights and whatnot, it was hard to see people's faces properly. And, then he said 'Perfect' I assumed he must of thought of me as handsome or something, he looked around before smiling again. 'Come to Big Hit Entertainment tomorrow at 8am. We'll sort something out.'  Is all he said before handing me a card with his details on, I stopped him and asked him how he found me, his answer? ' I found a leaflet about the underground competition and decided to visit there to find any new talent and bam, I did!' I watched him leave and then I went home to tell my sister and my father. They was happy for me and told me my mum would be proud." I saw him go silent after that, I hesitantly asked, "Where is she?" 

"She passed away 2 years ago from a bad illness..." He said shakily, I looked down to stare at my coffee. I stirred it with the spoon before looking up to see a tear run down his smooth paleish skin. "H-Hey, it's okay...." I said and he looked down with a small sniff.  

[ Jae's Pov ] 

I put my right hand under my bangs and wiped away my tears, pushing my hair up to reveal my light brown eyes and forehead, I wasn't looking at Jungkook but I was staring down at his coffee as I calmed down. "Talking about my mother is a sensitive topic, I was very close to her. My father had brought me and my sister up on his own." I said and smiled lightly before looking up to see Jungkook studying my eyes, he swallowed lightly and I chuckled out. "I should be over it by now, but it's my mother....I will always miss and love her no matter what." I nodded to myself.
