X A V I E R
I turn around at the sound of a bullet firing and my breathing stops. This wasn't possible. This wasn't fair.
No!
He was shot. In the chest. Right in front of me. And I, I was standing here, doing nothing.
I take my gun and hit Valerian on his head with the back of the gun and run towards Brandon. I was going to kill him!
I couldn't kill Valerian because I did not have the right. Natalie would never forgive me. But, I was a bit shocked when she took her gun and went towards Valerian.
I looked at Brandon, who was laughing at his gun shot and punched him.
"How dare you?!", I screamed as tears emerged in my eyes. "How dare you shoot him?!"
"I'm glad I did that. Looks like, even he was important.", he chuckled, wiping the blood off his lip.
I kick him on his right knee and he fell down. His gun fell down as he tried to balance himself.
"I'll kill you!!", I screamed, punching him again and again as tears fell from my eyes. He couldn't do this. Life would never be so unfair.
"I don't care. I've destroyed you enough, and seems like, it's worse than death.", he smirked and groaned because of the pain.
I took the gun and pointed it to his head. I wasn't going to let him live. As I see the figure beside me, groaning in pain because of the bullet in his chest, my decision becomes more firm.
"I hope you don't rest in peace.", are the last words I say, before pulling the trigger on his forehead.
One. Two. Three. Four bullets totally make him lose any kind of movement. He was dead. I had killed him. I had saved my daughter. I just saved my family. But I had lost him.
I look at Natalie as she points her gun at Valerian, tears falling off her eyes, staining her cheeks.
"I loved you, brother. You deceived your sister.", she cries quietly as Valerian looks at her without emotions.
"I don't have any remorse.", he said, without any emotion.
"Bye, big brother.", she closed her eyes and pulls the trigger. The bullet hits Valerian on his forehead. Natalie doesn't shoot twice. I was sure, even one bullet was difficult for her. After all, he was her own brother.
But, without crying she runs up to me and we both run to the figure, now breathing heavily.
"Take care of Xandra.", he breathed slowly.
"Don't leave us.", Natalie cried, holding his hand. "Please."
"Shh.", he smiles. "I can be with Melody now."
Natalie breaks down on hearing her best friend's name, who was no more now.
"And you,", he looks at me, "I'll haunt you and keep you updated with the information of your enemies."
A small chuckle leaves his lips, as I start crying. This was not happening.
Shawn was sitting beside us, with Xandra, who was now conscious, holding Xandra as she cried, too.
"Don't miss me much.", he says, closing his eyes. "I love you all."
My best friend was no more. Adam was dead.
