Chapter 10: Twenty Years Later

You walked into the room, and saw your wife, Blake, putting your son and daughter, S/N and D/N, to sleep in their room in the sanctum. You looked at them and they were both asleep. Blake acknowledged you came in, and kissed you on the nose. "What was it today?" she asked.
"Nothing me, Wong and Mordo couldn't handle." you say, kissing her neck.
She purrs like a cat as you go to your room. You give Blake a kiss before falling asleep. When you woke up in the morning, Blake was still asleep, so you got out of bed, not wanting to wake her. Walking downstairs, you conjured a portal to Vale, where the other members of Team RWBY had remained. Walking through, and purposely leaving the portal open, you found yourself, once again, in that famous broom closet.

You walked out of it, and saw Beacon, in it's glory. You went out of the school, and into the streets. Walking around, you eventually met Ruby and her husband, Oscar. You approached them, and said, "Perfect day, isn't it?"
"Absolutely," Ruby said, "Anyway, did you get what I asked for?"
"Yeah," you say, producing a box of cookies, "Bear in mind, S/N and D/N stole a few, so..."
"It's okay," Ruby said, "We're going to share them anyway."
You then hear church bells and see a funeral in process. You get closer to see what's going on, and see that the funeral is for Ozpin. You wait until the ceremony has finished, and everyone has left before you kneel next to the grave. "Kamar-Taj will miss you, buddy," you say, close to tears, "Remember that it was you that taught me not to run away from a fight, even when I knew I had absolutely no chance of winning... Rest in peace, my friend... Rest in peace..."

You feel two arms snake around your waste, and turn to see Blake, S/N and D/N behind you. "He was a good man." you say.
"I agree, my love," Blake said, "Ozpin was an inspiration to all. He will be missed by many."
Wong and Mordo appeared, and kneelt next to Ozpin's grave. "He was born for the mystic arts." Wong said.
"And he died doing the thing he swore to do: Defend natural law." Mordo said.
You look at his grave one last time, before conjuring a portal back to the sanctum. You sat down and looked out of the window. S/N sat next to you and said, "Dad? Are you okay?"
You fight back tears, and answer, "Yes, I'll be okay. It's just... Ozpin was a good friend..."
S/N hugged you and said, "We're all here for you. Never forget that."
"I won't," you say, hugging S/N back, "I promise."

You then heard footsteps in the hallway, and saw as Salem and a few species of Grimm had entered the sanctum. You approached them and asked, "What do you want?"
She kneeled and said, "You went to great lengths to protect Earth from Dormammu. You have earned my respect, Dr Strange. From now on, I am in your debt." she then left.
"Wait," you say, "If you truly are in my debt, then I ask you to end your assault on Remnant."
"So be it." she said, walking out, clearly in a 'Whatever' tone.
As night fell, you got into bed, only to be attacked by Blake. She got on top of you,  and kissed you passionately. "Y/N?" she asked.
"Yes, Blake?" you say.
"A family of four isn't working for me," she said, "So... how about we make it a family of five?"
You sighed, slightly chuckling. Tonight would be a long night.
