The next day Arthur had found himself jumping out of bed, speeding through his morning routine like a kid running late on their first day of school.
He quickly threw on his suit, adjusting his tie as he made his way down the stairs. It seemed he would have to skip his usual morning tea..
In almost no time at all, he was already all tucked in the driver's seat of his Honda, foot on the gas pedal making his way down the road. He nearly lost it when he made it to the main road. Why did traffic always have to be so busy in the morning?
Once he had finally made it to work he dashed through the lobby and towards the elevator, gaining stares from other workers in return. Though Arthur didn't mind in the slightest. He was far too eager to ask for a job to worry about other people at the moment. Once he made it to the top floor, he sped towards his boss's office.
There was no way they could say no to Arthur after so many years of people being unable to catch Jones!

A few minutes later~
.
.
.
"WHAT YOU MEAN 'NO'!?"
Arthur clenched his fist, watching his boss burst into tears with laughter.
"You want to take down the Hitman Jones?" The Frenchman took a deep breath in attempts to contain himself from any more laughter. "I've never heard anyone want to take such a job, let alone ask for it!" As soon as Francis finished talking he couldn't help but burst into a series of big, unessasry giggles.
'Honestly, this Frenchman has the laugh of a torn up bicycle horn..' Arthur thought to himself, getting angrier by the second.
He wouldn't dare say that to his boss aloud though. He was trying to win him over right now, after all.
"I'm sure I can take him! I've never let you down before, now have I? I am a professional, Francis." Arthur made his way from in front of his boss's desk and to behind the Frenchman's computer chair.
He wasn't really the type to try and suck up to anyone but by now he was practically desperate for this job. There was no way he wanted to be shoved back into that stuffy room of an office filling out paperwork.
Taking a deep breath beforehand, Arthur placed his hands on Francis's shoulders, careful not to tug on that long golden hair of his. "Now um.. Francis? Do you think there's any possible way you can give me this job? Pleaseee?" Arthur begged, finding himself wanting to vomit in the process.
He really did hate trying to persuade in such a displeasing matter. Francis instantly tensed beneath Arthur's grip, looking at him in shock before using his feet to push and roll his him and his computer chair to the far other side of the room.
Arthur crossed his arms in confusion. Was his tactic not working? Francis suddenly stood up, brushing his shoulders off as if Arthur was some sort of disease. "Fine, fine! Do the job but just don't touch me, okay?"
Arthur beamed excitingly, clasping his hands together. Yes!! This was what he had been waiting for! "Thankyou!" Arthur shouted happily before making his way towards the door. He wanted to hurry and get out of there before Francis could have the chance to change his mind. "Wait! One more thing, Arthur!" Francis called out, causing the brit to pause before stepping out. Why couldn't he just let him leave already? "Don't blame me if you are killed.. That Hitman isn't really like other's you've faced. He's.. sinister.."
Arthur stood still for a minute, as if collecting his thoughts as he looked at the flooring beneath him. He could manage right? There's no way this 'Hitman Jones' could be all that tough..
"I'll be fine, Francis." Arthur assured, smiling gently before exiting the room and shutting the door behind him with a soft 'click'.
Now his mission can really begin.
