To everyone who's followed this book since the beginning, thank you. To the people who have just begun reading, thank you. I'm in university now and im not going to lie, it was really great coming back to try and write this from what I know, i tried to reread it all throughout high school but i really didnt like my writing. I might post this in parts or altogether who knows :0 also, I'm sorry if I get details wrong in advance. I hope all you guys are well :)

"You nervous, baby?" Sting held onto Lucy's hand.

"Not really," she looked up at him, "I think?" Sting let out a small chuckle and planted a kiss on her forehead. He moved his thumb in a way that softly rubbed the woman's cheek. There was a silence between the two, all they did was look into each other's eyes.

Sting gently put his hand on the back of her head and pulled her in, softly touching foreheads with her. Lucy felt heat rise to her cheeks.

"I—" Sting stammered. He took a deep breath and swallowed the lump in his throat. "I love you, okay?" He said with a smile, a smile meant to reassure Lucy, but to her, he just seemed hesitant. Lucy gave a small smile and got up, something was bothering Lucy and Sting knew it. "Baby, are you okay?"

"I think I'm going to go get ready for tonight. Weiss and Luke need to be picked up from Yukino's, too." Lucy sighed, and left to grab her clothes to pick up her boys.

Right. . . Lucy has to drop the kids off at Natsu's, too. It's already late in the day too. Sting glanced at his hands, fidgeting with them. Lucy and his boys mean so much to him, and he understood where Lucy's hesitation is coming from—no—maybe it's a fear? Sting couldn't pin it exactly. He rubbed his eyebrows and got up. He waited for Lucy to come out of the bathroom.

"Sting, I'm going to pick up the boys and—" Lucy was interrupted when Sting latched behind Lucy, his hands embracing her tightly as if she was going to disappear or turn into millions of particles.

"Lucy," Sting groaned, he gently kissed the side of her head and finally settled his head on her shoulder, hiding his face in her long, blonde hair. "I'm going to go and pick you up later tonight,"

Lucy grabbed Sting's hands and unclasped them, "Mhm," she nodded, "I wish the boys can join but they're too young for this type of thing." She quietly mentiond, Sting saw a slight smile on her face before she left Sting to his own devices.

"Oh, Lucy. You're scaring me," Sting whispered to himself as if anybody in the empty house could hear him. He groaned in frustration and began thinking. What did I do? He pondered. Why is Lucy so angry. We reached a level of understanding, she trusts me. She loves me right? Sting let out a heavy sigh, he fished his phone out of his pocket and dialed the only person he can think of:

"Rogue, Lucy's distant again." Sting explained.

"Sting, Lucy's probably still not happy about you constantly disappearing,"

"I get that, I do. But she said she trusts me with what I'm trying to do,"

"That doesn't mean she won't feel down about it," Rogue stated. Sting could hear the clinking of glasses and the boys' laughing and shouting in the background. "Are you doing this for her or for yourself?" He asked, Sting furrowed his eyebrows.

"What?"

"Are you proposing to her to erase your guilty conscience of what you did to her or are you proposing to her because you love her? Or are you proposing because you want this family to be whole?" Rogue paused and Sting could hear him take a sip of water, "Maybe it's all of 'em, yeah?"

Sting stayed silent. What the hell was this man on? Sting began to be riddled with questions. Rogue's being a dimwit. . . I love her. What did I do wrong? "Agh, I don't get you but I'm going to hang up,"

"Sure, Sting. But just so you know, I'm not telling you what to do. I'm just trying to give you some perspective,"

"Yeah, okay." Sting quietly said, he ended the call and left to shower. He had to prepare everything. Everything had to be perfect. This night cannot be ruined at all.
