First and foremost (I hope I used that right) let me start by saying that I, Skylar Nicole Johnson, am a huge band geek. Yup, that's me. I've going into my freshman year of high school. Whoop whoop. I will be attending Warrick County High School, which just so happens to be one of the BEST marching bands in the state of Kentucky. Band is just, amazing. I've been a part of band since the 5th grade, playing flute to the best of my ability. Another thing you must know about me is that I love to write. I'm mean, I'm writing this right now because the idea came to me and I didn't want to loose it. I have no intention of publishing this, it's just not my thing. Well, some simple facts about myself are: I'm funny, get over it. I'm rude, unless I like you. I'm shy, unless I know you. I'm ugly, and that's all I have to say about that one.
My best friends just so happen to be the ones I'm in band with, shocker, right? Amanda would have to be my BEST FRIEND EVER! I trust her with anything and she's just amazing. Gotta love her. Then Katy, Terry, Mallory, Kendall, Brittani, Tiffany, Kiki, and Sarah. Those girls are amazing, and they all play flute, yay! But, I left a flute player out, Marie. I hate her. I hate her very very much. No, it's not because she's a better flute player (Oh, God, she's awful.) And it's not because she's dating my crush. (He's in band too, surprised?) It's because of the simple fact she THINKS she's the best flute player ever, and she had anger issues.
My crush's name is Clay, he plays drums. He's hot. But he gives me as much attetion as a white crayon.
So, it's time to start a game. This game is called band camp. Get ready to survive, because nobody will be left behind.

So, yeah. It's short, first chapters usually are. If you haven't picked up on it yet, she's writing in like a diary. And each chapter is another entry. The tittle usually will be like a tip kind of thing. (Spoiler alert! : Chapter 2 will be called : "Chapter 2- Don't forget your water.)
