Carly's POV
I was driving back to my apartment thinking about what had happened today. I can't believe Sarah called Jane and Maura aunts. And I can't believe my daughter is staying at my bosses house tonight. Also I can't believe I'm going to be the on call M.E. for nine months. Wow, a lot has happened today. I got to my place and went to Sarah's room. I packed her some clothes, shoes and toothbrush. Then I grabbed her favorite stuffed animal. A light pink colored giraffe with chocolate brown patch spots. Then I drove to Maura's. I pulled up to her house. Her place is really nice. Especially on a M.E.'s salary. I think her parents are rich or something. I don't know. I went and knocked on the door and Jane was the one I open. "Hey Carly." she smiled and let me in. Maura came over and took Sarah's stuff. "You want to stay for a glass a of wine Carly?" Maura offered. "Sure." I walked into the living room, that was connected to the kitchen and the dining room. It was pretty much one big space. Sarah was on the floor playing with a baby. A real one. "Who's that?" I asked smiling at the little baby boy.
"That's my brothers son TJ. He's coming by later to get him."
"Oh. Well he's adorable. How old is he."
"He just turned 1 about a month ago." Maura came over and handed me and Jane a glass of wine. "Oh my gosh I just realized something. I won't be able to have my favorite wine for nine months." Maura said. I chuckled a bit. "Maur that kinda makes you sound like an alcoholic." Jane sniggered. "Well I'm not!" Maura hissed as she smacked Janes arm. "Owe. Your going to give me a bruise from hitting me all the time." "Maybe if you weren't so sarcastic you wouldn't get hit." Maura laughed.
Janes POV
Carly left then I went and turned on the tv. To the O'Reilly Factor . Then mine and Maura's pictures popped up. O'Reilly started talking. "Colleagues by day, Lovers by night. Chief medical examiner Maura Isles and Det Jane Rizzoli have started a relationship and I have recently been told that they got married in England. Is this a roomer or is this something that could coast Boston police department there best detective or one of the best M.E.'s in the country. Today I have with me Angela Rizzoli. Jane Rizzoli's mother." I paused the tv. "No no no no no." I said getting up and heading to the guest house. "MA!" I yelled as I busted through the door. "Yes Jane?"
"Did you do an interview with Bill O'Reilly."
"No..."
"Ma I just saw the tv." She looked at me and guiltily. "Ma why do you have to do crap like this." I pulled her back into the house. "Maura!" I called. She came walking in. "I just got Sarah to go to sleep." she said. "Look at this." I said then I took the tv off pause.
"So Angela, how do you feel about their relationship?"
"I approve of it. I said to them one day that you can't help who you love so I support them."
"How do you feel about Dr. Isles."
"Oh I love Maura like my own daughter. She let's me live in her guest house and we have a family dinner at her house all the time with Janes brothers."
"So did Dr.Isles and Det. Rizzoli get married in England?"
"Yes they did, and it was a beautiful wedding. I actually brought a picture." A picture of me and Maura kissing at the alter came onto the screen. "I can't see Det Rizzoli as the kinda girl to wear a dress."
"She wore it for Maura. To surprise her."
"So do you think that there relationship could cause problems at BPD?"
"Not at all. They have one of the healthiest relationships I've scene in a while."
"Well Angela it was nice talking to you." I flipped off the Tv and ma looked at me guiltily. "Ma...why would you do that."
"What I said nice things."
"Still..." I scuffled and turned to Maura. "I'm going to bed." I kissed Maura then walked by her towards the bedroom.
