A mother and a little girl were moving out of there mini-home, into a cheap house they found online. Once they walk through the doors of this building, they will know what true horror is... "Hannah! Stop running around and get in the car! We have to leave now!" Olivia yelled. Hannah said back, "ok mommy... I will... But, when we get to the new house, can my walls me pink?" Olivia nodded her head as she opened the door to let Hannah in. Hannah jumped into the backseat of the car, smiling the biggest and the most innocent smile you could ever imagine. Olivia buckled Hannah into her car seat and hopped up to the front of the car. She got into the driver's seat, put in the car keys, pushed the gas pedal and drove off into the distance.

The new house was far from the mini-home, so it would take some time to get there. Olivia looked back to see Hannah peacefully sleeping with her head tilted one way. She parked the car to the side of the road, got out of the car, went to the trunk, got Hannah's teddy bear, and put it next to Hannah as she was sleeping. She then went back into the driver's seat and started driving again. Hannah woke up a few minutes after they made it to the new house. Olivia questioned, "do you like the house? It's old, but it's pretty!" Hannah put her hands in the air and said, "yes mommy. It's so big! I love it!" Olivia smiled as she unbuckled Hannah out of her car seat.

"Hannah, go into the house, I'll be there in a second. I just need to get our luggage out of the trunk!" Olivia said gracefully. Hannah nodded her head, running towards the steps of the building. Hannah went up onto her tip toes and reached for the handle on the door. Once she got a hold of it, she turned it to right to open up the door. As the door slowly opened, Hannah felt a small shiver go up against her spine. Hannah looked back at her mother saying, "mommy... It's scary in here..." Olivia looked over at Hannah and said back, "it's ok Hannah! I know it's a new place and it looks scary, but you should never judge a house by it's look!"

Hannah nodded her head and took another step into the house. Every step Hannah took made a small creaking sound on the floorboards. Olivia yelled over to Hannah, "Hannah! Could you give mommy a hand with some of this? I can't carry all of it!" Hannah ran over to Olivia and picked up the blanket she had since she was a baby. "Mommy? Why is my blanket on the ground?" Hannah asked. Olivia looked at the blanket, confused. She crouched down and said, "I guess it just fell out of the trunk when I opened it! It's no biggy! Why don't you bring it into the house?" Hannah ran back up the stairs, into the house. She placed the blanket down on the floorboards of the house and ran back to Olivia.

"Mommy?" Hannah asked. Olivia responded, "What is it, Hannah?" Hannah then said, "What's the black thing behind you?" Olivia quickly turned around, seeing nothing. "What do you mean? There is nothing there." Olivia asked. Hannah pointed behind her mother, and answered, "yes there is. It's a black thing!" Olivia looked behind her once more. Then she looked at the ground. She made an explanation, "that's just a shadow Hannah, it's harmless!" Hannah's hand slapped her face as she said, "that's not what I mean mommy!" Olivia continued to search all around her. There was still nothing in Olivia's eyes, but in Hannah's mind, there was horror...
