A weekend alone (Jally)

Chapter 7

Johnnys pov.

I woke up before dally and managed to slip out of his arms and I sat on the edge of his bed and watched him sleep. I was thinking maybe I should go home because I haven't been there in a few days, but I also didn't want to leave Dally alone.

I started to get bored so of course I tried to wake Dal up. I shook him and before I knew it he grabbed me by the back and had his arm around me. "I think I might go home soon" I said. Dally quickly let go of me and looked at me in the eye "you know he just gonna hit you" dally said looking nervous. "yeah I know but i'll be okay". 

"Why do you even ever go back there" Dally snapped. I wanted to answer but I didn't know what to say because I didn't even know. I knew he hit me and my mom always yelled at me and hit me to but I still loved them because they were my parents, and I hated myself everyday because of it.

"I don't know" I said not looking him in the eyes. "Lets move in together" Dally said in a serious tone. I immediately felt a chill go up my spine and I looked up at him. "We couldn't afford that" I said looking confused. "Well I got a job last summer and didn't tell the gang and I saved more than I expected I would have" Dally said grinning. "We can get get an apartment, maybe that place next to the Curtis house" dally said looking exited. 

"Yes, yes but I would need to get a job and you would too if you still don't got the one you had over the summer" I said still shocked. Dally had a big smile and kissed me. "I like it when you don't have all that grease in your hair" dally said, winked and walked in to the bathroom.

I started to think about how I was gonna get a job and how. Maybe, Soda or Steve could get me a job at the DX. Dally walked out of the bathroom with new clothes, I blushed because of how good he looked. "You think i'm pretty cute don't you?" he asked chuckling. "Yup" I said proudly. "Good because I think you are pretty adorable too" he said smiling which made me giggle.

"Come on lets go to the Curtis house" Dally said holding his hand out. I took his hand and we left Buck's and went to the Curtis house. "Soda if you and Steve do whatever THAT was in front of Pony one more time I swear I will kick you out" We heard Darry yell. "Awe you would miss me too much" We heard Soda say as we walked in to the house.

"Oh lord don't tell me you and Dally are gonna be doing THAT too because I cant handle it" Darry said facepalming. I laughed and promised we wouldn't. "Well, I'm not good at keeping promises" Dally chimed in grinning. I nudged him with my elbow.  I could hear Pony freaking out in the other room again. I looked at Dal and he have me the 'go ahead' and I went to Pony's room.

"Why do they have to keep doing THAT in front of me dear lord" Pony said as he paced around his room. I laughed and asked what exactly were they doing. Pony just looked me and shook his head "no". 

I walked out of Pony's room trying not to laugh at what just happened. I came to the living room and sat next to dally. I got pretty cold just sitting there considering it was January. Dally must have seen me shivering because he said "Come here Johnny Cade" and lifted me in his lap and wrapped his arms around me trying warm me. 

Steve and Soda walked in from outside and Steve said "See Darry we aren't the only people doing that". "No they aren't doing whatever you were doing so I don't get mad at them". Darry said looking annoyed. "Ok mom" Steve said has him and Soda left for work. Darry just rolled his eyes.

Pony stuck his head out of his room "Are they gone" he asked. "All clear" Darry called as me and Dally laughed at the whole situation. "Thank god, I don't think I'll ever be able to look at Soda the same" pony said. "Yeah me too" Darry said looking traumatized. 

It was around 7 when I asked Darry if he knew anything about buying apartments. "Well I never bought this house because it was, our parents house" he said looking sad. "Oh well me and Dallas are thinking about getting an apartment together since we got the money" I said trying to lighten the mood. "Can I stay there while Steve is over here" Pony said still looking scared. Darry chuckled and went to his room.

It was around 12 when Pony said that he was going to bed and said his goodnights and went to his room. "Are you going to Bucks?" I asked Dally who was half asleep. "I think i'm gonna crash here I don't think Darry will mind" Dally said tiredly. "I guess I will too then" I said. Dally laid down on the couch and pulled me on top of him and had his arms around me.
