A weekend alone (Jally)

Chapter 5

Johnnys POV.

I woke up still in dally arms and I tried to slip out of his embrace because it was 2:30pm and the gang might come home soon. I wiggled out of his arms and he started to groan in his sleep. "What the hell" Dally groaned as he sat up. "I think we slept in a little bit" I said and walked out of the room. I was about to cook something when I was literally swept off my feet. I looked up to see dally holding me like a baby. "How long have you wanted to do that?" I giggled. "You know only a couple... years." Dally said grinning. 

I was about to find something to cook again when the phone rang. I asked Dallas to get it, "Ok, see you soon then, alright, bye" dally said when he answered the phone. "It was Darry, they will be home in about 3 hours" Dally said looking worried. I knew we had to tell the gang but I just didn't know how, I don't think Dally did either. I asked him what he thinks we should say and when we should and he just shook his head.

"Ok dal, first of all you have not officially asked me out so is there really anything to tell?" I snapped looking annoyed that he had not really asked me to be his boyfriend. Dally just walked in the bathroom and left me sitting on the couch alone. I had been thinking if dally even really did love me or if he was just lookin for something to do.

After I was thinking for a while I started to get worried about Dally. He had been in the bathroom for over 30 minutes. I walked over to the bathroom and heard the shower. I knocked on the door. No answer. I called his name. No answer. I went in to the kitchen to grab some fruit. After about 45 more minutes I was too worried so I decided to try to get Dally again.

Right as I was walking towards the bathroom the door swung open and he stepped out. "Sorry" he said quietly, almost a whisper. "For what" I said trying to look at him in the eyes but he wouldn't look. "Not asking you to be my boyfriend, I guess I wasn't ready for it" he said finally looking at me in the eyes. "It's ok, I still love you, you know that" I said smiling. "I love you and always will" he said right before pulling me into a hug and kissing me on the forehead. 

He told me that he was going to get dressed and walked into Darry's room. I sat there thinking how weird it was that he still didn't ask me out even when he just told me that he loved me and always would.

Dally came out of Darry's room and said that we should talk about how we were gonna tell the gang that we were kinda seeing each other. When he said that all I could think was when he said we were kinda seeing each other, what does kinda mean? He can't keep his hands off me! He made a good point, though, when he said  they would almost definitely be accepting considering that Steve and Soda came out and said that they were dating and the whole gang was happy.

"Since Steve and Soda are dating and me and you are does that mean Two-bit and Pony are gonna" Dally laughed. I chuckled and said "yeah I think Pony and Two actually have a thing so maybe they will, poor Darry needs to find a man". "I think Darry is the only straight one" Dally said laughing hysterically. 

It was around 5 O'clock when I started getting nervous because the gang would be home soon and we were gonna have to tell them about me and Dally sorta kinda dating. I don't know if I'm ready to tell them but I feel like Dally will make me anyways.

I was sitting there uncomfortably next to dally then I heard the door open and the gang came inside. I quickly got up and pony ran over and hugged me and asked how the weekend was and I looked at dally who was looking at the floor and I said "It was okay". Pony looked kinda confused but shrugged his shoulders and walked to his room with soda. Everybody seemed to go back to what they were doing before they left. 

Steve was eating chocolate cake and watching mickey with Two, Darry was sitting in his recliner reading the newspaper and Soda and Pony were in their room. I looked over at Dally and gave him a "well are you gonna say something look" and he looked at me, winked, grinned and stood up.
