"Hello?"

Knock knock.

"Okay who the hell is it? I'm trying to sleep!" You yelled into your pillow, scratching your head and lifting up your face to look over at your clock. It was 10 in the morning. You groaned, hearing the knocking continue, followed up with repeated door bell rings.

"Does _____ live here?" You heard a males voice call out from the door.

You huffed, sitting up and stretching, running your fingers through your hair before getting out of your bed. Your feet pattered against the warm wood floor as you made your way down the hall and towards the front door. You yawned and stretched again, scratching your hip as you did so. You peeked through your curtain, seeing a tall man in front of your door. Brown somewhat short hair, the air naturally styled his strands for a nice soft fluffy look. Amazing posture and nice strong shoulders, his face glowed softly in the morning sun, his eyes glistening and you could even see a cutely placed freckle near his jaw bone. You blushed a little, realizing what you where doing but you couldn't help it. He was attractive.
Like.
Really attractive.
Yet you raised your hopes to high, noticing the faint glow of blue coming from his temple.
An android.
You groaned pulling away from the window and swinging the door open.

"What do you want?" You rested your arm against the door, leaning against it as he studied you.

"My name is Connor, I'm the Android sent by CyberLife." He introduced himself, pressing a hand against his chest, "I was told to work with you by Jeffrey Fowler until my case was over," he paused, putting his hand down and looking you in the eyes, "I was also told you where going to keep an eye on me and follow me with this case, is that true?"

You crossed your arms, glaring at the Android, "what the hell is Fowler thinking? Why did he put me on this stupid case? What even is the case?!" You continued to glare at him, tapping your foot on the wooden floor. "I would literally be useless to this case."

Connor seemed taken aback, looking away from your eyes, "it's a deviant case. I'm required to figure out why deviants are becoming more active and to stop them. Fowler told me you would keep me in check and make sure I preform properly-"

"Yeah well Fowler can go kiss my ass because I'm not doing this." You began to close the door but Connor interrupted you, putting his hand out and stopping the door.

"Fowler told me you would say that. He told me that if you don't partake in this case, you will be forced to work with Reeds on a similar case." You swung the door back open, ready to punch something.

"Are you kidding me!?" You screamed out like a child, "Gavin!?" Your spine shivered at the thought, "He's a dick! Nobody would work with his ass!"

Connor shrugged, "maybe that's why he said you would work with him if you refused to work with me." Connor continued to study your movements, watching you have a fit made his wires spark a little bit. You where acting like a child.

You pouted, crossing your arms again, "fine! Whatever! I'll take on this case." You uncrossed your arms, swinging your arms up in exaggeration as if you just flipped a table, "it just has'to be me!" You mumbled looking down at the ground. Connor smiled, noticing your anger.

"They also said I have to stay with you."

"WHAT?! ARE YOU FU-"

****

"So I'm assuming you know a lot about androids, what is your connection with the department, um..." he paused, waiting for you to correct on how to address yourself. You shook your head, slipping on your coat.

"Just call me _____." You grumbled, still annoyed of the situation you where in, "I work with the police department on some very small occasions but I mainly work on androids just like you." He nodded, quickly walking towards the door before you reached it. He opened the door for you- causing you to look at him with a raised eyebrow, "after you." He gave you a small smile in which you returned with rolling your eyes. You stepped out into the chilly fall air, walking down the steps of your porch and onto the sidewalk. You could hear the door close behind you followed by the steps of Connors rubber soled shoes. A taxi was already waiting for you in the front.
