The Story Of Isabella Elizabeth Charleston.

As I looked down at the divorce papers I couldn't help but think about how I got into this situation in the first place, my names Isabella and for as long as I can remember I've been surrounded by the richest of the rich you name it, So I guess it was only fair I would be married into wealth, well at least that's what I was told to do, I came from a wealthy family myself might I say one of the most wealthiest family's, but daddy always reminded me that I could never settle for less, I guess in my parents eyes me marrying a man who had less to his name than mine was an insult to them and my family name, the Charleston name.

My Family Name was all I knew, from birth I was reminded how important it was to continue my family's  Legacy.
The Charleston's Businessmen & Women we're one of the richest family's to have ever walked on this earth, I never really knew how my family kept its billions over the years.

The Swans and Charleston's owned the biggest and most powerful businesses in the world, at some point they were enemies until my grandfather came to terms that the idea of the two family's joining would do more greatness together than apart. The Swans happened to agree with the idea. You could say both family's were the royalty's of business and anyone
And everyone was keen to grab even the smallest amount of power from both the family's no matter what the cost is.

At the age of 19 I was set to be married to Edward lee Swan even his name screamed dollar signs, For the last 20 Years the Swans and Charleston's have wanted to join family's by blood, now you might ask 20 years is a long time why join family's now?
Let me catch you up to speed.

The Charleston's had a strong line of males until my aunt Hazel Cane, she was set to marry Leo Lee Swan 15 years ago but the problem was the Swans wanted a stronger blood Relation to the Charleston's they wanted someone with the last name, my Aunt in fact was a Charleston But also a Cane and that didn't satisfy the Swans Family because she didn't have Charleston as her last name.

The Cane Family came from wealth as well but no where near as much as the Charleston's, the Swans seen it as an insult giving Aunt Hazel their last name  so of course the wedding was called off and she got to marry a man she loved, lucky her.

And then there was Uncle Charles Charleston, they couldn't have fit anymore Charles in there, he was set to marry the beautiful Valerie Swan if only you had seen her.

If classy was a women it would be her the Grace she held was extraordinaire.
I could only imagine,

She was an inspiration to all,

anyways she ran away the day before the wedding and well
No ones seen her since but rumours have been spoken about her disappearance, it made me begin to wonder is money really everything in the end.

My marriage wasn't anything great but I guess over time I grew to really love my husband, he was handsome, But let's just say our story was definitely far from a love story, my first night with Edward wasn't as romantic as I had dreamt it to be.

The first words he said to me were,
"Let loose for once in your life." he told me to "open up what are you scared of we're married now."

As he pulled me into his arms and began kissing me the world went silent for a second, I could feel his hands gently moving slowly down my waist and just like that everything else went blank,

His lips pressing against my neck as he began pulling me down onto his lap lifting my dress up, as his warm hands carefully reached towards my neck he whispered carefully in my ear "your finally mine now."

I guess Edward had always had a crush on me, you could say the crush was mutual but I couldn't help but realise we didn't really know each other that well.

Our Wedding was magical but a rush, both our family's wanted a grandchild and fast.
In a sense we understood each other and the pressure that we had to provide a child for our family name.

The hardest part would be accepting that the child's name wouldn't be of my choice,  as most parents would have a say in naming the child we didn't, regardless of what me and Edward wanted the child would be called
'Charleston Lee Swan' if it was a boy or if it was a girl 'Swan Lee Charleston.'

Truth be told, in a sense we we're both just weapons for our family's own greatness and Legacy.
And at the end of the day power, wealth money all came with a cost, being apart of the 1% Women wasn't as easy as it seemed.
