I woke up to a loud ringing by my right ear only to find my 5 am alarm screaming at me to get up.

I was about to get up until I realized Namjoon found his way up next to me. His right arm was above my head and his left arm around my waist. I could feel his slow breaths brush back and forth on my neck to indicate that he was in a deep sleep. 

I tried to move away but Namjoon tightened his grip forcing me back into his embrace. 

He pushed his head deeper into my neck and pressed his chest onto my back, allowing his warmth to transfer over to mine.   

I rolled over the slightest to see if Namjoon was still in a deep sleep. 

He in fact was still knocked out and looked as if he hadn't slept in weeks. 

I began to stare at his expressionless face.

Untouched and worn. 

His eyes showed dark circles from lack of sleep, indicating his late night trips are finally getting to him. 

His lips were smooth and tempting. 

Very tempting.

Just as my hand was about to touch is cheek, he mumbled.

I withdrew and sighed, What am I doing ?

I finally wiggled free and watched him get comfortable again. I got one more good glance at his still face before I chucked a pillow at his head.

"Time to bounce Joon. You gotta get ready and you need to leave before everyone wakes up." I said while gathering his shoes and jacket.

"You didn't have to attack me." Namjoon said while stretching out across the bed.

"You also didn't have to sleep here, now go before my mom wakes up." I ranted while I half dressed him and pushed him towards the window.

"I'll see you at school." He said with a goofy smile on his face that brought out those damn dimples. 

Before I could say anything he was already out the window. I leaned over to find him climbing down the oak tree that covered my window, blocking out all kinds of light. Joon looked up and smiled before putting his hands in his pockets to reflect the freezing winds. 

I waved and finally let out a sigh of relief. Namjoon and I never thought of each other as anything other than friends. He's never given off that vibe and we've never talked about it. 

but..why do I feel like this?

His smile left me standing there with a ridiculous grin. 

 I wish every morning was like this.

My phone gave off a loud bing before lighting up. I unlocked the ice block that laid stone cold on my nightstand. 

Namjoon(5:28): Thank you for starting my day off with a smile.

You do this on purpose I swear.
