"My name is Alex Fletcher most know me as 'Alik', what now seems like a lifetime ago I made a promise, a promise that I will now keep....,"

"Four Lateral slashes across the torso...,"

"You are Alex Fletcher, and I'm entrusting you with.....,"

"He's crashing get him into a theatre stat....,"

"Mine, Yours and The Worlds Future....,"

"Ok, don't you die on me.....,"

"562,121 people died that day but history won't remember a single one, Welcome to your nightmare buddy, good luck......" and then nothing...

I opened my eyes battling the urge to close them in the brightness of the lights, I looked around, I was lying in what appeared to be a hospital bed, I saw a woman asleep in a chair pulled over next to the bed it was my mother Cassandra Fletcher. I clutched my head, I suddenly felt dizzy and when it subsided the memories flowed in... I had been out in the woods some guys from school when we came across a pack of wolves, we had tried to run but we barely made it to the edge of the trees before the wolves caught up. I remembered the pain and screams as we were being torn apart by the wolves, then the silence after they had enough. Left alone in the darkness I had called out till the cold air pierced through my skin and I fell in unconsciousness, I had seen nothing in the darkness but I remembered a voice and that's all I had remembered.

I suddenly snapped back to reality when I heard the door open. I saw a woman who looked to be in her late 20's walk in wearing a lab-coat and holding a clipboard.

"Alex Fletcher, 18 year old male, suffered multiple lacerations to the torso and legs, also numerous bite marks along the arms, you took a hell of a beating. So how you holding up Alex?" she said. As she looked up from the clipboard I noticed the name-tag on her chest and that it read; "Avery Contreras," a line above "Resident".

"Um.... I Could be better I suppose,"

"Well you'll be in here for a couple of days but hopefully then you'll be free to go," she said before leaving the room. After the doctor had left I noticed my mother stirring awake.

"Morning mother," I said.

"Oh Alex you're awake,"

"Yes I just woke up a few minutes ago, a Doctor came in and told me about the injuries," I said while I looked at my heavily bandaged body.

"Oh, it's ok dear," She said as she leaned over and gave me a big hug, "I was so worried about you, I'm so glad you're ok,"

"Thanks Mum, I'm fine. I just have to stay here for a few days and I can come home. Speaking of which you should probably go home and get some sleep," I could see the bags under her eyes. I guess she must have been awake all night with worry.

"I'll stay for a bit longer then I'll go home," she said. We talked for about an hour before she decided that she was ready to leave. After she left I decided to get some more rest, I lay there in the uncomfortable hospital bed. I counted the seconds, which turned into minutes but eventually I was embraced by the cold silence of sleep.

I felt a cold breeze on my skin as I walked through the darkness. I couldn't see anything more than a few meters away. I walked for what seemed like hours, I didn't know why I was walking or where I was trying to get to but I kept going. After a while I began talking to myself, I questioned what this place was? What I was doing here? How I got here? and I hadn't noticed but at some point I wasn't the one asking the questions, I looked to my left and I saw a large wolf walking along side me, it had pure white fur with calm red eyes that met mine as I looked at them,
