Tori looked away from her book when she heard Natalie's bedroom door open. Bare feet patted against the hardwood floor as Natalie headed to the front of the house. As she stepped into the kitchen, Tori lifted her hand and waved. Natalie pulled a wine glass from the cabinet and filled it with the red wine in the refrigerator.
"Do you need a refill?" Natalie yelled from the kitchen.
"No thanks," Tori replied. She stuck her pen in the book for the class her job required her to take and lay it on the low table in front of the sofa. "Can't sleep?" she asked as Natalie took a seat beside her.
"Not really, no," Natalie said without looking at Tori. She kept her eyes straight ahead, like she was watching a show on the darkened television screen.
"Did your friend not stop by for a visit tonight?" A small smile formed when she Tori saw the blush cross Natalie's cheeks.
"It's here," Natalie said, her eyes down at her hands which were wrapped around the glass of wine. "It's just being ornery."
"What's it doing?" Tori asked, one eyebrow jutting up.
"Have you really not had any run-ins with it since you've lived here? I can't believe you've been here over four months and still haven't seen or felt it." Natalie downed all of the wine from her glass and headed to the refrigerator for the bottle. This time, she brought it with her and set it on the coffee table after filling her glass.
"Besides seeing a dark shadow slide through a few walls, I've not seen or heard anything, except for, well, you know."
"Yes," Natalie said as her head fell back against the sofa, "I know. Tonight, it's just being a tease. It won't let me finish."
"Seriously? From what I've heard, it loves to make you scream in pleasure. What's it doing different?" Tori reached for her glass of wine and refilled it before leaning back against the sofa. She pulled her bare feet up and tucked them behind her as she turned to face Natalie.
"Are you sure you want to know?" Natalie risked looking at Tori and didn't see any judgement on her face. In fact, there was a slight gleam in her eyes. "I hope I don't embarrass you, because I'm likely to share more than you want to hear."
"I doubt that," Tori smiled. "I've heard so much already that my imagination fills in the pictures for me. Tell me," she urged.
"I don't know what it's trying to do tonight, but all it does is tease me until I'm nearing the end. Then it just pulls away." Natalie leaned forward and set her glass of wine on the table. As she leaned back against the sofa, her eyes closed, and her hands settled on top of her thighs. Her silk robe parted a bit as she let her legs relax apart. "It keeps running its hands up the inside of my legs slowly, teasing in small circles until it reaches the top. Then, its touch moves down and skims between my legs. It always starts soft and teasing. My body has come to love its touch and reacts to it immediately."
Tori bit her bottom lip as the tie around Natalie's robe pulled loose. She couldn't see any sign of a ghost in front of Natalie, only its actions. The silk tie lifted into the air, then fell along the edge of her thigh.
"What are you doing?" Natalie asked with her eyes still closed. "Why out here?"
"I'm not usually home at this time," Tori said softly.
"I know," Natalie nodded her head. "Evidently, it wants an audience tonight." She opened her eyes and let her head fall to the side until she could see Tori. "Do you want me to leave?"
"No," Tori whispered. "I would love to watch." Natalie nodded to her as she set up on the sofa. Her shoulders pulled out of the robe first, followed by both arms. The red, silk robe settled on the sofa behind her. Her arms relaxed at her sides as she leaned back. A breath caught in Natalie's chest as her chest pressed up and her back arched.
