As Ruth and becky walked to their classes they were stopped by the familiar bitchy voice again. Guess who? Scarlet. As she walked toward them with her high heels making that tick tack sound and stood infront of them with a disgusted look on her face and said"Didn't i tell you not to make me look like a fool in math class."and pushed Ruth back making her to loose grip of the books and notebooks. Ruth did not do anything but just stood back, Scarlet looked at the book and notebooks that were scattered on the floor. Then something caught her sight, she bent and took one of her notebooks and examined it with her black evil eyes and suddenly she looked at the poor Ruth. She stood up and walked closer to her and then turned around to say what she saw on her notebook."Well,well it looks like our little nerd is in love,"she said it out loud so that every living soul in the school can hear it. "Isn't that adorable?" She said it sarcastically folding her arms. Ruth not knowing what to do her heart started to beat faster the only thing she could say was "GIVE IT BACK TO ME.""Don't you think you're a little to late."she said it through her teeth showing her the hatred for her,"and guess who is the prince charming she is waiting for...."she stopped for a moment and then continued,"it is Denis hawkings!"All the students started to laugh out loud. Ruth fell on her knees tears running down her dark cheeks covering her face putting her dark curly locks away from her face. Becky couldn't do anything she grabbed her bff up from cold school floor,Ruth put back her eye glasses on and then the world couldn't be any Better when she saw Scarlet went over to Denis and sucked his face in to her dirty lips and then pull away Denis from her looking at Ruth up and down. Well everyone knew that she liked Alex-the bad boy-not Denis,and everyone knew that Denis has a crush on Scarlet. She totally kissed him to make Ruth feel bad about herself,to show where she belong,and to show that Denis is totally into her not Ruth. At that momet Ruth ran as quickly as she can and with tears blocking her sight out the hallway doors and bumped into a hard body. She looked up to see Alex catching her by the waist without saying anything she got out of his grip and ran outside and skipped school for the first time ever.
