5: I WAS WRONG.

((RUTH))

Am I supposed to clean the basketball staduim with Alex? I looked at him he was swooping the dusted floor. Then tilted his head and his deep black eyes caught mine. I didn't move my eyes and yeah we started eye contest until he broke it with a smile. He waved and winked. Ohhhhh i hate that guy why does he act so inoccent? I rolled my eyes and looked to the other side  and walked toward the bucket containing the cleaning stuff. I could see him changing expression and frown. I put my bagpack down on the ground. When i turned around to start my work.

"Oh my god Alex! why are you right behind me ? You scared the shit out of me." He took a few steps back.

((ALEX))

"What is wrong Ruth?" I said worriedly looking  into her eyes catching her arm.

"Leave me alone Alex , i have to finish this work and go home." She moved her arm from my grip.

I let her go. Why is she acting like this? Damn it did i do something wrong?

She took the cleaning towel from the bucket and started to scrub the floor. I walked away to finish my work. After 5 minutes i could hear her groaning. I think she is struggling. So as a gentleman i have to help her.

"Do you need help?" I looked up from the cold floor to Alex who is now stretching his hand to me.

Well yeeeees....

I took his hand and he easily lift me up. I tried to clean up my dress from the dust on the floor.

"Well if you want to finish early we have to help each other.ok?"

I simply said ok. He brought the mops and another bucket filled with water.

"Now you fill this bucket with this cleaning detergent." He instructed me and i followed his instruction but still acted coldly. I didn't want to ask anything. I simply kept quite.

"Now Ruth take this mop and i'll take the other one. And now take of your shoes."

"What why!?"

"Trust me the floor is smooth and we can finish soon."

"Hey that didn't explain much."

He quickly took off his shoes. Ughhh. I took mine off too. As soon my feet touched the cold smooth it send me shivers all over my body.

"Now let us check your sliding skills with your feet."

"What? No im not going to do that, you want me to fall on my butt and end up in hospital." I folded my arms.

"Come on that is the only way we can do it fast or wait you cann't do it.. oh it is okay little girl."

No no no no stop Ruth....im always a sucker for challenges

"Hell no i can do it but.."

"But what? Nah you can not do it give up."

"No i can and i'll prove it."

"If u can slide better than me then dinner on me but if you didn't you have to tutor me deal." He stretched his hand out to shake. I took his and shook his hand.

"Deal. You go first"

"No no ladys first." He bowed, i rolled my eyes.

My gaze followed her when she reached the end of the staduim. Well the staduim is small. We only use it for spending time here not for official games. She pulled her long navy dress which showed her curves perfectly. She opened her messy bun and her curls reached her waist then she pulled her hair into a high ponytail. She took off her eyeglasses revealing her dazzling eyes and then she closed her eyes and took some deep breaths then she run and slide with her feet over the floor.
