"hui it's happening again."

hwitaek turned to the youngest, whose eyes were wide in fear, staring out the window.

"what?"

"you didn't call him did you... no, it doesn't matter he would have came anyway–"

hwitaek's heart sank, he couldn't bare to follow wooseok's gaze, already knowing what he would see. his younger brother was already on his way and all of a sudden everything wrong with the supermarket became so prominent.

"i forgot to i'm so sorry!" hwitaek grabbed onto the man's shoulder and exclaimed dramatically.

"it's not your fault." wooseok placed his hand on top of his. "we'll win this time, we'll have to."

"you say that every time!" hwiteak dry sobbed.

"get ready for—" wooseok was interrupted by the front door's bell.

"hello, do you guys have borax?" a girl with short hair stepped in with a soft smile and gracious walk. hwitaek and wooseok quickly deattached themselves from each other with awkward coughs.

"yeah in aisle 4." wooseok croaked.

the girl thanked the employee before disappearing among the shelves, once out of sight hwitaek smacked the younger upside his head.

"what was that for!" wooseok shouted, frowning as he rubbed his head.

"do you need glasses or something? my heart almost fell out of my ass." hwitaek's voice cracked as he spoke but he didn't do anything to cover it up. his raw emotion surfaced through their small scene and it filled his throat and lungs with goo.

as hwitaek felt himself become heavier with doom he sucked up the fresh air of his amazing supermarket and let it go. before he could speak hyojong came out from the employee's room.

"so you guys are putting me in charge of the math when i never even went to college?" hyojong pursed his lips cutely, looking between the two employees with furrowed eyebrows.

since hongseok was coming they needed to be in tip-top shape with numbers to show him; but jinho hated math, wooseok sucked at math, and hwitaek just didn't want to do it. they dumped the worse job on his boyfriend but he was definitely not telling the blond that.

"you learn about correlation in like 9th grade, baby." hwitaek frowned.

"yeah baby." wooseok faked an exaggerated pout and put an encouraging hand on hyojong's shoulder.

they all erupted with laughter; hwitaek lightly smacking the youngest while hyojong only giggled at the attention. they calmed down a minute after.

"well, what exactly do i do then?"

"just put the amount of money the register has had everyday for the past month in the ti-83 and it'll show you the graph and the correlation coefficient." hwitaek informed his boyfriend.

wooseok grimaced. "yuck! people don't need to listen to that!"

"do you want me to tell him how the calculator we have is the one you stole from highschool instead?"

"shutup! shutup! i would not be made into a criminal. how the fuck did they expect me to do the homework without it?"

"at least you did the homework." hyojong shrugged, patting wooseok's shoulder. "that's very good of you, son."

wooseok pretended to tear up. "thanks daddy."

"WOOSEOK GET TO FUCKING WORK NOW!"
