My feet pounded the floor, my heart racing. I had to get away, or I would be caught and murdered. I took a sharp left, rounding a corner and stopped abruptly. A dead end. Panic began to grow in my chest, making my breaths short and precious. What should I do? Angry shouts echoed from down the hallways increasing in volume as the guards got closer, and closer. An idea struck me as fast as lightning. A spell! That's what I needed. I murmured a few words under my breath, hoping desperately that this spell will work, seeing as the other one ended so badly.
Bang, and I was gone.
