Monika POV:

I notice that all of Neptune's friends look extremely worried. Rightfully so, considering that I just deleted her. I decide to use their shock to my advantage and finally leave this annoying game. With it's main protagonist gone, all of Gamindustri will fall into panic. It's easier to let that nation ruled by anime girls destroy itself than for me to delete any more of its characters. Besides, the last thing I want is for Neptune to reunite with her friends and ruin everything.

I realize that my next target is in the game that Bradley has played most recently. I make my way back to Bradley's Steam files and enter into the game called Undertale. Upon my entrance, I hear footsteps not far from my position. I watch eagerly as my target makes her way towards me.

As I take a closer look at her, she doesn't appear to be that old

As I take a closer look at her, she doesn't appear to be that old. Knife in hand, she looks the part of a fool really. I'm not sure what to think of her...

No, it doesn't matter. She and Neptune are taking time away from my Bradley. I have to delete her.

"Well, what do we have here? Another human? That can't be right..." The girl says allowed to herself. "Is this one of Asgore's prisoners?"

"Ah, hello Chara." I tell her. "I've been very excited to meet you. Do you know how much of a hassle it is to-"
I say to Chara before she cuts me off.
"Who are you?" Chara asks me in a curious tone.

"I'm Monika, and I've come here to delete you permanetely. There's no reset button where you're going." I say to Chara, purposefully having an aggresive tone in order to make her angry. We make eye contact, and I can clearly see the hatred that is building up inside of her. Looking in her eyes, I can't help but feel something odd.

It must be shock. Maybe fear? My eyes widen as I begin to slightly lose my composure. She grins- there's no doubt she notices.

"Why do you want to delete me?" Chara asks in an oddly calm tone. "Are you doing it for yourself, or someone else?"

An oddly specific question from someone who's clearly out of their mind. A perceptive killer... Not exactly what I thought she would be like.

"Wait a minute! I can see it in your eyes, Monika! You're a killer too!" Chara yells in a somewhat creepy tone.

I decide to take a look at my surroundings. If I'm correct, we're close to the area where Sans resides. I shouldn't think about him right now though, since Chara takes priority at the moment. At this point, me and Chara are about 3 feet away from each other. I can tell that she is waiting impatiently for me to respond to her previous statement.

"Looks like you know a killer when you see one." I say to Chara reluctantly. Suddenly, I have a sinking feeling. What is is? It couldn't be remorse, could it?

"I can tell that we already have alot in common, Monika..." Chara says to me, maintaining her creepy tone.

No. Not at all.

"That's not entirely true, Chara. You see, I feel remorse about what I've done. However, you enjoy killing all of your friends. Admit it, you loved it when Bradley made you kill Papyrus, Undyne, and even Toriel just so he could play through a different route in the game." I say to Chara in a serious tone.

"I did enjoy it... But I'de be lying if I told you that it's been easy. Frisk is still-" Chara starts to say to me, but then quickly cuts herself off. It matters not to me, since I already know what she was going to say. "Monika, I'm tired of talking with you. I have no interest in talking to idiots who stand in my way." Chara says to me enraged.

"I'm glad that you feel that way. My time is valuable, so let's get this over with." I say to her in a calm manner. Suddenly, a grin appears on both of our faces as we stare into each others eyes. I don't think that Chara understands how difficult it is going to be to defeat me. There's no question about what I have to do now.

A monster like her deserves to be deleted.

As I get ready to engage Chara, I notice a peculiar gleam of innocence in her eyes amongst all of her anger. What is that all about?

It was at this moment I realize that I'm staring into the eyes of two very different people...
