It was 8 in the morning when Yoongi jolted awake, sweat dripping down his face. The thing that woke him up? A sharp pain in his chest, as if his heart was being stabbed with a thousand needles. He wanted to know why it was that he has these pains, sure he knew that what he was feeling was exactly what his soulmate was feeling but why? And why did he always feel the pain every Wednesday at 8:15?
He pulled himself out of bed since he was never able to go back to sleep after the pains. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and proceeded to the bathroom.
When he walked out of the restroom he walked to his ringing phone and answered it.
"It's Wednesday." Said Hoseok, Yoongi' s best friend. Yoongi sighed and laid on his bed. "And?" Hoseok felt the need to checkup on Yoongi every Wednesday ever since Yoongi told him about the pains he has been feeling for the past 7 months and Yoongi finds these check ins annoying and unnecessary.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Do you always have to be so mean to me?" Yoongi sighed. "I'm sorry Hobi but you have called for these check-ins for the last 30 Wednesdays. It's getting old."
"Yeah yeah, open the door." Yoongi hung up and went to open the door to find the dark-haired male at the door with the brightest of smiles.
After Hoseok's constant pestering, Yoongi gives in to go on the blind double date his friend had planned for them. "You're going to love him he's a tad younger than you but he is really cute." Yoongi didn't say anything, he was busy thinking about the person who felt such terrible pains every Wednesday at 8 in the morning. It hurt Yoongi to even think that his soulmate had been feeling these pains for seven months, and there was nothing he could do because Yoongi didn't even know if his soulmate was male or female.
'I should really get on top of finding them instead of wasting my time on a blind date' Yoongi thought to himself as he and Hoseok made their way to the small café.
"So, Jungkook-ah, how did you wake up today?" It would have been considered a simple question to people who don't know the predicament Yoongi has found himself in so when he hears this question come out of his best friend's mouth he snaps his head in his direction and gives him a deadly glare.
"Like any other day, I am not much of a morning person and I usually wake up with stomach pains." The youngest of the four explains as he keeps his hands in between his thighs.
Hoseok looks at Yoongi as if telling him that this Jungkook is the reason for the sharp heart aches. However, Yoongi wanting to know why he had been feeling such a way continued the conversation. "Do you know why you get these pains? What about chest pains? Do you get those? What time do you usually wake up? Does it hurt particularly more one day than other days?" Jungkook blinks, taken back by the vast amount of questions thrown his way.
As a way to lighten the mood Hoseok laughs loudly and slaps Yoongi in the back immediately causing the older to hiss and sit up straight before glaring at his friend yet again. "He's a funny guy this guy, isn't he just hilarious." Jungkook smiles shyly and Hyuk-shin smiles brightly at Hoseok. Yoongi decides that this is the best part of the night to detach from the date and let the others continue as he drifts off into his thoughts.
The date had finally ended and Yoongi was emotionally exhausted, Hoseok had offered to walk Hyuk-shin home and Yoongi didn't think it would be right if he sent Jungkook off on his own so they walked in the dark streets in almost complete silence.
"I can't sleep on my stomach for a long period of time, that causes my stomach pains. I don't usually get chest pains and since I still go to school I wake up at 6 in the morning, there are somedays when I do feel worse than others but its never been a specific day." Jungkook breaks the silence, causing Yoongi to stop in his tracks.
