"harper athena parker. the class of 2005's valedictorian would like to say some words before we begin naming the graduates." i stepped onto the stage.
"though i wasn't at paulo verde for a whole school year, it truly felt like a home. yes, i had my problems, but then things got better. i was disappointed to say the least when i moved from new jersey to nevada. a lot of things changed, like the accent. i cannot give a thorough explanation of my 8 or so months at paulo verde, but from the 8 months i was here i loved it. the teachers were amazing, for instance, physics with mr. musick. where sometimes we weren't sure it was physics, but it was important because. explosions. paulo verde is a community with open arms, and i truly hope that my eight months here were an equal experience to everyone else. so, yay class of 2005. we made it through four years of drama! woo!" harper smiled and turned towards the stairs.
i looked at brendon and smiled. we had been to hell and back this year.

brendon and i dated, but decided to stay as friends, and i got together with adam.
i attended harvard and majored in sciences. i graduated top of my class, and adam proposed a few months after getting into the nfl.
i said yes, bought two houses, started a business and soon married adam.
i am now an interior designer.
