*PATRICK'S P.O.V.*
I watched Y/N as she walked away with that Beverly girl.
"That girl is a fucking psycho, what a perfect fucking match." Henry snickered. I smirked, I love her so much, it physically hurts.
"So Denbrough, what's going on between you and Miss Marsh?" Vic grinned, taking a swig of beer.
"W-e-we're just f-friends." Bill tried to hide his obvious blush and I smiled.
"Just friends don't look at each other like that, and hold hands." Richie said, in a matter of fact tone.
"Well look at you and Y/N, everyone was convinced you guys were dating, but no you're just best friends." Eddie pointed out.
"Yeah, you had me fooled." I admitted, and Richie blushed.
*Y/N'S P.O.V.*
Me and Bev were sat on the edge of the cliff, the same cliff me and the Losers were jumping off only hours before.
"The boys told me about Henry." I spoke up, offering her a cigarette which she accepted.
"I didn't have sex with him, I only kissed him. He told me he really liked me, and that I was beautiful. I thought he liked me, I didn't do anything more than kiss him, I promise." She said in defence and my heart broke a little bit, I couldn't imagine what it's like.
"I never believed it, I know what Henry's like. Fuck, everyone knows what he's like. He's a piece of shit if I'm totally honest but he's changed, I can assure you on that one, and he will make it up to you, I'll make sure of it." I smiled and she let out a laugh. "Dude, I'd be in denial if I told you Patrick wasn't a total prick before we started dating." I giggled, before explaining everything that had happened that day that Richie showed up at my house with that video. I felt weird. It's strange how far we've come since that day. We sat there for another 30 minutes just talking about things.
"D'ya wanna go back to the others now?" She asked, which shocked me, but I nodded.
"So, you gonna tell me what's going on with you and Bill?" I asked, raising my brows.
"I like him, he's sweet. But I don't know if he feels the same way." She admitted, rubbing her arm. "I don't want to embarrass myself, so for now I'll just go along with the whole 'friends' thing." She finished and I looked at her.
"Are you kidding me? He had hearts in his eyes and looked so happy with you there before. He likes you!" I assured her, and she smiled, eyes bright and beaming.
We eventually got back to the boys and I watched Bill as Beverly sat next to him. He stopped mid conversation and asked her how she was and if she was warm enough. I smiled at how awkward they were.
"Hey gorgeous." Patrick beamed as I sat next to him, I kissed him and smiled.
"Hey." He wrapped his arm around me and I snuggled into him for warmth, he placed a kiss on my temple.
We spent another 2 hours just talking, messing about and listening to music.
"D'ya guys wanna stay at mine tonight?" I asked as we were grabbing our things about to walk back to the town.
"I'm down." Patrick said, and Vic and Belch nodded, I looked at Henry and raised an eyebrow.
"Ah, I suppose so." He muttered and I nodded, turning to face the Losers.
"Guys, you in? Movies and pizza?" I asked.
"Movies, pizza, my number one girl, of course I'm in!" Richie shrieked, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
"I'll come." Bev smiled, grabbing her bag.
"I'll come too!" Bill beamed and I smiled to myself.
"Alright then, you two... Coming for Netflix and Chill at my place?" I asked.
"Well, I usually stay at Stan's on a Friday, but it should be okay, just if anyone asks. I was at Stan's house!" Eddie quickly answered.
"Same, my Dad will keep me on lock down if he finds out that I stayed over at a girl's house." I giggled at Stanley's reply.
"Alright then, leggo!" I said, pointing my finger, still having Richie's arm slung over me.
We arrived in the town and went straight to the local pizza place. We walked in and there were 2 drunk middle-aged men, slurring their words and laughing at something in the local newspaper. Then in the corner there was a short, chubby boy, I'd say he was around our age.
Vic ordered for everyone, having to read the list off of his phone.
"How long's the wait tonight, Tony?" I asked.
"About 20 minutes." I nodded and sat down in one of the uncomfortable blue plastic chairs.
"Is that Ben from Social Studies?" Bev asked Eddie.
"I think so." He replied.
"Does he not have any friends?" I asked.
"I don't think so, I've never seen him with anyone and he's always just moping around with his headphones and I see him in the library like all the time." Richie answered my question.
"Did ya say his name was Ben?" I was double-checking and Eddie nodded his head, I stood up and walked up to the boy, sitting next to him. He looked up at me and smiled a little.
"Hey, I'm Y/N, Y/N Y/L/N."
"H-hi, uh... I'm Ben Hanscom."
"Nice to meet you Ben Hanscom. What are you listening to? I asked, grabbing his headphones from around his neck. "Ah, a fan of Blackbear. I love him!"
"Same, what's your favourite song?" He asked, he had suddenly found this confidence. I get that, I love bonding over music.
"Make Daddy Proud, or Slide Thru! What about you?" I asked.
"Girls like you." He informed me.
"Good song, so Ben Hanscom, the reason I am here is because, not to sound rude or like a creep, but me and my friends have noticed that you don't really hang out with anybody. Wanna chill with us for a bit?" I asked.
"Uh yeah, nobody really wants to hang around with me. I don't know. I think it's because I'm weird." He admitted.
"Join the club, like literally. They'd love you! I promise."
"Well, I guess I could hang out for a couple of hours. If it's okay with everyone." He agreed.
"C'mon, I'll introduce you to everyone." I told him, before we walked over to the others.
