Her feet dragged her away from what she called family, but those words were so difficult to let out after this while she thought of how betrayed she was.

"Scarlett, get back on the table." Scarlett knew how furious was he getting after what she told him, she would know definitely now how the stars in the morning we're going to be, beautiful?

"No!" And with that, she seals her door room harshly behind her because the sound of footsteps coming was heard sharply and they were no other than her fathers, Adam.

"SCARLETT, I SAID OPEN THE DOOR" the yelling of her father was so loud and the banging on her door was making her frightened of her father for the first time. "GO BACK TO YOUR WIFE AND YOUR SONS!" yet she still was talking back.

If she could express the feeling she was in then she'd cry for the first time for it, it pained her to the point where she wanted to stay away from everyone in this world, everyone but one person.

"Scarlett!"

"Leave me alone!" She felt so incapable like this, and when she rubs her eyes, fresh tears started pouring down in terror of her father.

"Scarlett, open the door or I'll break it!" Her father was angry, so angry that he was unquestionably gonna accomplish his promise, his promise to hit her.

"So you could come and break me too?! I'll go back to mom so you could be done with me" With every blink, her eyes would blink down tears.

"Stop getting her on every situation! She left us, she is dead!" Eyes, nose, and cheeks are red as she sobbed.

"But she's not dead to me... I'll go back to her, I promise" and shortly, she was able to hear sniffling from the other side. She assumed to hurt her father, how he hurt her too. And she'd put the blame on no other than Morgan, the wife of her father, her stepmother.

It all started when they fought just like how they do it every day.

"Morning, Scarlett."

Dad nodded back when I sat on my normal spot on the dining table where my family was seated. Pouring myself whatever the table served without looking at no one.

My dad's wife, My mother, My stepmother, Morgan.

Irritation, annoyance, and anger weren't enough to define how i felt at the sight of Morgan, she was definitely what i avoid the most.

"Scarlett." the call made me turn to its way. "I'm not the only one on the table. act like one of us and greet your family." Dad glared. actually, my focus was on his big and thick brows leaving me wondering how perfect are they on him.

"G'morning Sean, G'morning Scott." I greeted both the stupidest people I've ever seen and they replied back.

Sean was older than me and Scott comes after. My parents must have lost their mind or thought of the Kardashians to names as all with the same letter. It's a corny move, that's what I believe.

"Scarlett." The slight difference in his tone made me circle my eyes. I wished it rolled to the back of my brain but instead it lands right on Morgan.

"Don't make it a big deal, honey. Good morning, Scarlett." Morgan lets out a small smile hoping I'd reply the same movement but all she ever earn was;
