1 week later.

Amy's POV.

It was Sunday after noon and the week has been pretty crazy. Harry and I had hung out a few times after Sunday and he was such a romantic.

On the third date he gave me a rose with an everlasting spell and I kept it wrapped around my bed frame ever since.

The thing I love most about Harry is that he's so sweet and can be very sassy and brave when he wants to be which is perfect for me.

This weekend was absolutely and completely homework free. Which left Hermione a little disappointed.

The week was crazy because Quidditch practices were very close together. Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw next weekend and it's Hufflepuff vs Gryffindor the next. I wonder how this is going to make Gabbie feel. It would be weird competing against her boyfriend. But I mean we don't really have a choice here.

The snow had fallen a couple days ago but had melted all away.

Gabbie and I were in the Gryffindor common room playing wizards chest. There was a couple of people in there as well.
We kept our voices  down so we wouldn't be a distraction for the those who had homework to catch up on.

I moved my knight which killed one of Gabbies

"So how's Cedric been treating you?"

"Oh my, he's so sweet and considerate of my feelings, I honestly can't complain about him."

"He better be sweet to you." I Said.

Gabbie shook her head.
"How bout you?"

"I don't even know where to start. We've only been going out for a week so I don't fully know."

"Amy! Don't give me those words! That's bull! You've liked the guy for months now." She replied.

"I know!"

We heard a "shhhh" from the corner of the common room

"Sorry." I whispered back. Gabbie and I looked back at each other. We tried so hard to hold back our laughter.

This time I sat at the Hufflepuff table for dinner with Gabbie, Luna and Cedric. Ever since Gabbie and Cedric have been going out Me and Luna have gotten a lot closer with him. Harry has gotten closer with Gabbie and Luna. And I've became better friends with Ron and Hermione. We're sorta like this one big group now.

The great hall smelled of fresh cooked chicken and warm bread.
Luna and I sat beside each other across from Gabbie and Cedric.

"Do we really have school tommorrow? Where did the weekend go?" Gabbie complained.

"Atleast it's not muggle school." I joked.

"Why are you complaining?" I asked.

"I'm not. It's just it starts to early."
I smiled and shook my head.

"Wheres Potter?" Asked Gabbie

I looked over at the Gryffindor table to try and find Harry. Or at least Ron or Hermione. Then I looked for Neville. I had completely forgotten.

"Oh right! Him and Hermione are having dinner with Slughorn and a few other people." I answered Gabbie. "I don't know where Ron is though."

Cedric squinted his eyes.
"Why is that?"

"I don't fully know actually. He didn't say why."

"That's odd." Said Luna.
I nodded. But I didn't agree. From what I heard Slughorn has favourites and sometimes invite them to dinners or parties. But I was glad Harry was enjoying potions now. He never usually does because he had a miserable time in that class with Snape teaching it. But now he's not liking Defence Against the Dark Arts not so much now. It use to be his favourite class but not so much anymore.

I finished my dinner quickly and decided to head back to the warm common room.
When I reached the top of the staircase I glanced around at my surroundings and spoke the password.
When I walked in after making my way through the portrait hole. A familiar person was sitting in an arm chair reading a book.

"Good evening." I Said.

Harry looked up from the book.
"Oh hi." He smiled. "I didn't even hear you come in."

I forced a laugh.
"Watcha reading?"

"It's the Potions text book. Maybe the more I read it I can find clues on who the Half Blood prince is."

I then sat on the couch in front of the fire.
"Thats a great idea but didn't Hermione tell you to hand it in?" I smirked.

"Yeah she did. But I just need it for a few more days then I will."

I nodded. "So how did the dinner party go."

"Brilliant. Slughorn might be having a Christmas party here in a few weeks, just for students to have some fun before the holidays."

"That sounds great."

"I know this is obvious but you'll be my date? Will you?" He asked smiling in embarrassment.

I laughed "Yeah, Yeah of course I will."

"Good, I wasn't planning on going with anyone else" Said Harry.

"Me too."

After I finished talking with Harry I went upstairs to my dormitory. I changed in Pjs and glimpsed at the rose Harry had given me. I smiled and thought my life couldn't be getting any better then this.

Sorry if this Chapter may seem a bit short. But summer holidays are right around the corner and I'm super behind in homework and I do sports so this week has been extremely busy for me.
