A "Happy" Ending. A Happy Lowman Fanfic

Getting out of Dodge.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

"Where am I?" I wake up to a very annoying beeping sound. I try to open my eyes but I can't. So I try to figure out how I got here. Here assuming it's a hospital by the sound of it.

"Oh good you're awake, thought you slipped into a coma or something. I will go get the doctor just sit tight." Ok so I am in the hospital, I try to sit up but it's too painful to move. "Baby try not sitting up, you took a pretty nasty fall down the stairs a couple days ago." Ok now I know what happened, my boyfriend Alex and I were fighting and the dick threw me down a flight of stairs. See me and Alex always fight, but it escalated quickly and now here I am.

"Ms. Michaels glad to see you awake and alert. You gave us a good scare. Been out a couple of days. Now you're awake I want to run a few more tests."  Damnit I thought I would not be here, I just want to get the hell out of dodge and away from my abusive boyfriend Alex. Now see Alex wasn't always like this, no at one time he was so sweet and kind, but he started drinking due to losing his job and I supported his sorry ass. Thing's were fine at first but it started just as verbal abuse to mental and emotional abuse. Then came the physical abuse which escalated and eventually landed here.

"Mr. James was telling me you has one of your episodes and fell down the stairs. He tells me they are quite frequent." Alex of course left out the part where he beat the shit out of me and threw me but that's ok, he will get his. I do have episodes but of depression because I lost my parents at the same time and still haven't processed it, I was really close to my parents. My parents grew up together next door neighbors, dad courted mom all through school. Literally went up to my papa and asked permission to date my mom. The best love story ever told. The day my mom died my dad died from a literal broken heart. He couldn't live without her.

"So Ms. Michaels the tests I ran on you when you came were routine tests and one came back positive for pregnancy. So we did an ultrasound on you and you are ten weeks pregnant, so far everything looks fine but I would like for you to have more frequent check ups because the severity of your fall."
Wait... Did he just say "Pregnant" Holy shit. Ok calm down Hannah, breathe in breathe out. Clear your head.
Wonder how Alex feels, either way I am gone, I am not staying around for long.

"We are going to be parents baby, isn't it exciting?" "Can't wait to tell everybody." You also going to tell them how you beat your baby's mother?

Definitely getting the hell out of dodge...
