Seokjin was a busy man.

But at least now, he was a happy and satisfied busy man.

Closing the bar, and working as a barista was something he never knew he needed. Just one day of serving hot coffees in the relaxed atmosphere the café provided, was enough to rejuvenate his senses.

He hadn't felt this relaxed in forever, it seemed.

Now, one month later, as he gazed over the heads of the people chatting lightly and the tinkle of coffee mugs, while Dance To This played softly over the speakers, he realized how happy he actually was.

“Hey Jin, how're things holding up?”

Seokjin smiled and turned towards his, boss, he supposed.

“Excellently.” he replied. “Thank you for letting me work here, Joon.”

The younger smiled too, his dimples becoming prominent. “No, thank you for the extra hand. This place was getting too popular for one person to run properly.”

They shared one more smile, after which Namjoon broke eye contact and cleared his throat. “I'll be out back, deliveries just came in.”

Seokjin nodded while absent mindedly wiping the counter.

As the latter walked away, Seokjin could hear him scolding the new waiter.

“Jungkook, how many times do I have to tell you; no texting during shifts!”

Seokjin let out a snort as he heard Jungkook reply, “It's my boyfriend, what do you know, you don't have one!”

“Why did fate have me working with the both of you, I will never understand.”

They continued to bicker, until the younger of the two slouched out, tying an apron around his waist.

“Why'd you even take this job if you have no interest in it?” Seokjin asked him bemusedly.

Jungkook sighed tiredly.

“Debts.” he muttered. “Debts and expenses. I've gotta take as many jobs as I can if I want to keep the apartment.”

“I understand.” and Seokjin did. Honestly, the stories he could tell about his younger years....

Speaking of younger years—

“Hey, have you heard from Yoongi or Jimin lately?”

Jungkook shook his head, balancing a tray on his palm. “Last I heard, they were in Florida. They deserve it, to be honest.” He stared off wistfully in the distance, before acquiring a determined sort of look in his brown irises.

“Hand me that other tray too.” he demanded.

“You sure? It looks heavy.”

“Ah well, calm after the storm, I suppose?” he grinned and hurried off to the designated tables, now laden with both platters.

Seokjin watched him with a smile.

“I'll be coming in a bit late tomorrow, is that okay?” Seokjin asked Namjoon, as they were cleaning up, about to head home.

“Sure, you deserve it.” Namjoon leaned the mop against the wall. “Why, may I ask?”

“Just some work with the bar, someone wants to purchase the place, for some night club or something.”

“Ah, okay.”

“See you tomorrow then.” Seokjin was heading out the door, when Namjoon called out all of a sudden.

“Seokjin, do you seriously don't remember?” he asked, the tips of his ears red.

“Wow random, remember what?”

“Uh, in your bar, that one night?”

A sudden memory graced Seokjin's thoughts.

“One Vodka please.”

“Oh, yes, sorry, I was just...” Seokjin's voice faded as he glanced at the customer in question. “Oh my.”

His dimples were beautiful. That, in addition to the loose sweat shirt he was donning, made Seokjin feel dizzy.

“I...uh, yes, vodka coming up.” As he was working on the drink, he couldn't help but keep glancing at the attractive stranger.

“You new here?” he subtly asked.

“Yeah, not much of a drinker.” the stranger replied. “Needed a night off, though.”

“Don't we all?” Seokjin slid the glass over to him. “Just be careful. I just had to rescue someone from an advance.”

The latter downed the glass in one.

“...or maybe not.” Seokjin raised his eyebrows. “I thought you said you didn't drink.”

“I don't. One more please.”

All that and more did Seokjin recall, and couldn't help but grin.

“No, I don't remember.” he answered, a very obvious smile plastered on his face. He then tossed his apron to the younger and skipped out the door, saying, “See ya, Joonie~”

Namjoon watched him go, trying to conceal his smile. He failed though. “What even, Namjoon.” he blushed scarlet and hid his face behind his hands, giggling to himself.
