I woke up the next morning in Chelsie's room with her sleeping right next to me. I plugged in my phone and waited till it turned on. After a couple minutes i turned it on, seconds after I connected to wifi I get a trillion notifications. Mostly from Brennen. So I called him

Phone call with Brennen

Brennen: oh my gosh Amanda! Are you alright?

Me: yea I'm fine. Why?

Well I mean cuz I've been texting and calling you all night.

Awe. Sorry, I got my phone taken away

So can i come see you?

No. I'm actually hanging out with the fam today

Can I just stop by your place just to say hi?

You can't

Brennen, I'll see you at school

*fake sobs through the phone*

Fine! But when I see you at school you better be prepared for me to tackle you.

I turn over to Chelsie staring at me trying to hold her smile down. It was silent for a second. "What did you hear?" I ask. "Liiiiiiike everything" she says. "Who were you talking to?" "None of your business" I snap. "Is it that Mexican guy?" She says. "He's not Mexican. He's Latino" I say. "That's the same thing" she says. I just get up and walk out of her room to mine. I start getting dressed for the day. It was superrrrr hot. I decided to wear a loose white dress with pockets and my pink vans.

I headed downstairs and Xavier and my mom were waiting. We look at each other, "I'll drive?" I say. "Ugh no. Mom!" Xavier complains looking at my mom. "What? You wanna drive" I say. "Sure" he says. "Not in my car." I say. "Stop, Amanda can drive. Let's go" we head to the car and hop in. "Can we go to Starbucks" I ask. "Yea let's go" mom says. We walk into starbucks and I see Brennen standing with Colby in line. Omigosh. "Yo X. Take my phone buy what you guys want and order me a venti iced coffee. I'm going to the bathroom." I say. "K" he says. I rush to the bathroom, I know for sure he saw me. I was in there for a good 10 minutes. They have to be gone by now. I slowly open the bathroom door, I walk out and I see them standing beside the exit. Goddamnit. I walk over to my brother and mom. "Here's your drink and your phone" Xavier hands over "thanks" I say. "Here take my keys and start up the car. I'm coming I just need to add milk and sugar." I hand him my keys and they walk out. I walk over to the stand and as I pop off my lid I feel arms tightly hug around me. I look down at my dress and see a brown stain on my dress. He let's go as I turn around "Brennen!" I say. "You don't sound happy to see me" he says. He was about to put his hands around me again but I slapped them away. "Ow" he says. "You made me spill my coffee" I say pointing to my dress. "It's one speck, you can't even see it." He says. " your so annoying" I roll my eyes and turn around put my sugar in then start walking out. "Hey Colby" I wave "Hey" he says. I was walking to my car, I'm only feet away. Then Someone comes behind me picks me up by my waist and carries me back to where him and Colby were, He puts me down. "Brennen fuck off man!" I turn around to walk away and see Xavier storming around the corner towards us. He walks up to Brennen and just socks him in the eye. "Xavier!" I yell grabbing his arm and yanking him back. I walk over to Colby helping Brennen "B, are you ok?" I say. "Yea I'm ok" he says. "A! Let's go!" He yells taking my hand. "Wait!" I shout. "I'm ok. Go" Brennen says. And I see a small tear roll down his cheek. I take a step closer "let me see" I say. I move his hand away from his eye. He winces in pain, I look over to Colby. "I'll take care of it" he says. "Thank you" I say. I put both my hands on his cheeks and give him a little kiss on the cheek close to his lips. "I'll see you tomorrow at school." I turn around and walk away to Xavier staring at me. I hold down his arms so he can't move and put my face close to his and whisper angrily. "Do not say a single fucking word to anyone, especially mom" Xavier nods in fear. I pull back fix up his shirt and walk in front of him to my car. "What happened" my mom asks. "Nothing. Don't worry, you know if something bad happens I'd knock them the hell out" I say and giggle at the end to make it sound more believable. My mom takes a deep breath of relief. We pull out the parking lot and drive away.
