First to Leave

Flashback

Kai's POV

Me and Than had been sparring for hours and I had defeated him Chaos knows how many times

After 4 hours of sparring Than let me leave

"Kai go rest up I want try beating you tomorrow." said Than

I groaned

" Chaos knows how many defeats you got today but you wanna try again tomorrow" I replied sarcastically "well I'm going to sleep. Do NOT wake me up again!"

Then I teleported back to my room

That night when I feel asleep I had a dream I hadn't had in a long time, what happened that made us leave.

*flashback/dream*

I was sitting at Thalia's tree when I saw a short and really skinny kid being chased by a dozen hell hounds.

I ran over there uncapping riptide in the process.

The kid was cornered so I flipped over the hell hounds killing them in a matter of seconds.

Then Chiron showed up and the idiot kid boasted that HE was the miraculous killer of a dozen hell hounds and that I was cornered! The kid didn't even have a weapon!

Chiron looked at me with a sad expression "Really Percy you couldn't be bothered to help him?"

I just stood there in shock, the man I thought of as a third father, besides Paul and Poseidon, was accusing ME of not helping a helpless kid! The guy whose fatal flaw was loyalty.

Turns out the kid was a son of Zeus named Calvin

Over the next week everyone even the hunters who had come a few days were calling me stupid, useless, boring, and weak. all except Thalia, Nico and Annabeth.

I had left camp to go get my Wise Girl an engagement ring seeing as I was going to propose to her, but when I got back I saw the worst thing. Annabeth kissing Calvin!

"What does it look like you idiot I'm kissing the best looking strongest demigod in camp." replied Annabeth.

I tossed her the ring, saying I didn't want it and went to my cabin to pack my stuff.

When I was about to leave Thalia and Nico ran up Half-Blood hill and asked where I was going.

"Anywhere but this hell hole" was my curt reply

They shared a quick glance the Thalia said "Then we're coming with you."

And they ran to get their stuff.

In five minutes we left there for hopefully forever.

We were heading to say bye to my mom and Paul when we saw the apartment explode.

I burst into tears.

I had no one left but my Dad, Thalia, and Nico. I was IMing my Dad but saw him talking to Amphrite his wife.

"I hate him he's so full of himself, couldn't I get a good calm son!" he said in a huff.

"I know Percy annoys you dear why don't you just disown him?" she replied.

"How about I do it first" I cut in " I Perseus Jackson renounce Poseidon as my father and all my power over water."

With that the Iris Message disconnected.

Then Chaos appeared.

"You Perseus Jackson have endured more then any mortal soul should have to and I would like you to be the commander of my army and my adopted son." Chaos told me.

"I'll do it if these two can come too." I replied while pointing at Thalia and Nico.

"Of course" was his only reply.

So I stepped through the portal he made with Thalia and Nico behind me so I could restart my life.

When we got to Planet Chaos we were asked if we wanted to change our names, we all said yes.

I choose Kai which means ocean,
Nico choose Than which means death, and Thalia choose Damini which means lightning.

We then became the leaders of an army, we got wings mine were black seeing as I was leader where as the others got white.

We were given powers and were told to pick a specialty water, air, fire, earth, or darkness. I choose water, Damini choose air and Than choose darkness. We are now in the top five of most powerful in the universe with me being second, Than being third and Damini being fourth. The first being Chaos.

We were then told we each could take three people back from the dead. I choose Beckendorf, Silena, and Leo (who died to kill Gaea). Nico choose Bianca, Ethan Nakamura, and Michal Yew, and Thalia choose Luke, Zoë, and Travis(also died in Giant war).

*flashback/dream over*

And then I woke up to Flame banging on my door and threatening to set it on fire.
