"baby, my heart still beats for you,
even though you don't feel it"

"Alright, this is no sweat. If we leave right after school we should make it to Jackie's ski cabin by, like, 6:00," Eric reasoned, as him, Hyde, Fez and I were all crowded around the map he was holding.

"Man, I can't wait. A trip to my favorite place," Hyde began. Before I could point out that he'd never been to Jackie's ski cabin, he finished, "Anywhere but here."

I grabbed the map and folded it up before placing it on the coffee table as I sat next to Fez on the couch. "It's not too often you get to get out of Point Place, and I'm gonna treasure every second there," I added.

"And I'm betting that Alpine Valley is gonna give the kid many make-out opportunities with Donna this weekend. The kid is in." Eric tilted his head with a goofy smirk on his face.

Steven inquired, "What's with the whole "kid" thing?"

"It's cool," Eric defended. The three of us sat in silence in response. "It's not cool?"

"Not cool," Fez retorted.

"Dorky," I made sure to add with a nod.

The basement door creaked open and our heads turned to see who came in. "Guess who made out with Pam Macy behind the gym?" Kelso asked loudly as he slammed the door shut behind him.

"Everyone," Hyde uttered sarcastically. I tried my best to hold in my laughter at his comment simply because it was coming from him.

"No! Me!" Kelso exclaimed. It was obvious he was offended we didn't assume he was talking about himself straight away.

"Kelso, a lot of people hang out behind the gym." Eric looked at him in shock at his stupidity, which I would have done if I wasn't so used to it at this point.

"Yeah, that's what's so great about it. Everybody saw it!" Michael yelled with a huge smile on his face.

"That's great, man. Yeah. Because now everybody can tell Jackie, you moron," Hyde said with sarcasm evident in his tone.

Eric turned around frantically. "Then she's gonna dump you and we won't be able to go up to her ski cabin."

"I swear to god if you hurt her I'm going to run you over with the Vista Cruiser," I threatened and shot Kelso a glare.

"She's never gonna find out." Michael shrugged.

As if on cue, Jackie stormed into the basement with an angry countenance. "You are a dog, Michael, a dirty, dirty dog!"

Kelso tried to act innocent. "What did I do?"

Fez ratted him out. "You kissed Pam Macy." Michael gasped dramatically at the accusation, even though it was obvious Jackie knew.

"I trusted you, Michael, and now all my friends are laughing at me. I can't even show my face in the third floor bathroom anymore. And that's the cool bathroom." Jackie pointed her finger at Michael in annoyance before crossing her arms.

"But, I-"

"No, Michael," Jackie interrupted, knowing he wasn't going to make any valid points, "We're through."

"Okay. If that's the way you want it, we're through. And Monday, when we get back from that ski trip, it's over."

Jackie shook her head and laughed sinisterly. "No, Michael, no. You won't be skiing this weekend."
