Chapter 17: A new friend...

As a few days went by Hollow could tell that her sister and her friends were becoming more and more scared of her. They seemed to love their new home...well Hollows home, but they didn't hang out with Hollow a lot. Some of the servants in the castle had kids of there own which the twins and Bella would play with. Hollow didn't care if her sister hated her. Because she hated her... No...because Hollow just wanted her sister to be safe.

" Hey Hollow!" Prince Alex had walked into her room when she was sitting on her nice royal bed reading a book.

"Hello Alex!" Hollow replied. He had told her to refer to him as just Alex. "I thought you were going to hang out with your prince buddies?"

"No, I decided to hang out with you!" he said excitedly. "OH! I almost forgot I have a surprise for you!" He then grabbed her hand and led her through the castle, down a flight of stairs, and to a big door on the first floor. (The throne room is on the second floor!). "Be prepared to see something awesome!" He was so excited for some reason. He opened the door.

"Woah...." Hollow said in awe of what she had seen. A big beautiful garden stood before her. There were people all over it but it was still nice. A tall fountain stood in the middle. With giant rose bushes all around it. They stepped out into the garden which was busy with lots of people! and couples?

"So do you like it?" Alex asked

"Its awesome!" Hollow said. Just then Alex grabbed her hand in his and held it.

" I think you will like it here Hollow!" he said. Hollow felt the same way.

Later, Hollow was back up in her bed reading when a knock came to the door.

"Come in!" Hollow yelled. The queen opened the door. "OH!" Hollow rushed to her feet and gave a little bow. The queen giggled.

"There is no need for that Hollow," Said The Queen " you are part of the family here."

"I am?" Hollow asked.

"When the time comes I will tell you why but for now lets just leave it at yes," The Queen replied "I was wondering when you want your birthday party to be."

"What?" Hollow was confused.

" I already spoke to your buddies about their parties but I want to know about yours. I'm trying to get to know every one!" Replied the Queen again.

"January 6 please...for my party." The queen nodded and left. It was a weird meeting but Hollow was ok with it. It was getting a bit late so Hollow decided to go to sleep.

She awoke in a dream she heard laughter coming from what sounded like teenagers. She turned around to see Her and Alex kissing, then it changed, it was... Alex and her coronation? Then she saw it. A large male in all black had a gun pointed at Alex. She screamed and yelled at Alex hoping he would move...but he didn't. Hollow woke up crying. Bella at the side of her bed.

"Hollow are you alright!?" she looked so concerned. Hollow hugged her. Bella patted her back. Hollow tried to convince herself it was a dream, and she did. But she had just witnessed her sister giving her life to save the Prince...
