Five years had passed. It felt like five days, only yesterday we were married in my parent's Chateaux. Nicolas and I and little Raya went for our yearly break at the Chateaux to join my parents for the summer and celebrate our wedding anniversary.

I looked at my husband from across our seats, Raya was on my lap looking out the window at the farmland scenery counting every cow she found. My hands played in her soft dark curls. Nicolas was biting at his nail, as he read a script that was sent for him by his agent. I read the script too. It was a promising picture with a high budget and probably Oscar nomination.

I thought about the five years we had with together. It wasn't perfect, each marriage has its ups and downs, and it had to be worked on from both sides. We managed, however. There were times when we are apart for a long time and I had to clear my schedule to fly to whatever location he was filming at. And there were times when he had short breaks and flew back to Paris, back to me.

With our work schedules, and the expansion of my brand, it was hectic. Sometimes exhausting and stressful, but we always made sure we have little breaks together. Revive what we have built, and still building.

He had wrapped up the last production he was working on. He is taking a year off now, to spend it with me and our baby.

The script he was reading will not start filming until a year from now. So we had time together. I cherished it. Looking forward to it.

Nicolas looked up at me when he sensed I was staring at him and raised a questioning brow.

I wondered for a moment if I should tell him.

"Maman! Vache!" Raya pointed at a cow grazing on the green field.

"Oui une vache." I said my gaze still connected with Nicolas.

"Un, duex, trios..." Raya counted in her baby voice. For a three year old, she is very smart.

"Well...what is it?"

I smiled and shook my head. No, it wasn't the time to say anything.

"Can't I admire a hunk sitting in front of me?" I whispered to him.

Nicolas narrowed his eyes, glanced around. There were a couple of men sitting on the other side from us.

"You better be admiring this hunk and no other hunk." He pointed at himself.

"I only have eyes for you darling." I assured him my lips twisting into a smile.

"You better." He mumbled before returning back to his script.

I sighed and thought about leaving Raya with my mother, while Nicolas and I fly to some exotic island for a private vacation together.

My mother grabbed Raya in her arms kissing my daughter on her cheeks and ignoring both Nicolas and I. My father hugged me tightly and kissed me.

"She misses the little minx." My father said as he shook Nicolas's hand. "You should visit us more often."

"Don't we wish." Nicolas glanced at my mother as she went into the house with Raya telling her about the cows she saw on the train. "But we will make time this year."

"You better. The family keeps asking me about you two." My father said sternly as he walked with us inside the house.

"We will do that." I assured him patting him on the arm.

We spent the whole afternoon with my family talking and catching up and then we went up to our room. My mother took Raya to sleep in her room since she hasn't left my daughter's side all evening indulging her in every whim my daughter had, spoiling her rotten.

Nicolas locked the door and turned to me as I  began to undress, slowly, aware he was watching me. I glanced back at him, saw the heat in his silver eyes as they roved all over me.

"Well, what is it you want to tell me?"

I glanced at him.

"What makes you think I want to tell you anything?" I teased as I turned around to face him in my lacy black lingerie.

"I know you, wife. I know your every expression." He stepped closer to me and put his hands on my shoulders pulling me closer to him.

"Kiss me Nicolas Scott." I whispered to him, throwing my head back, giving him my lips to devour.

"Gladly." He locked his mouth over mine. It felt like the first time he had kissed me, making me drunk on his kisses, dazed and evaporating every thought in my head. His hand went to my breast cupping it in his hand, kneading and pinching the nipple with his fingers. I moaned and arched my back to him. "Think your father would mind if I made you scream my name as I fill you up?"

I giggled at that, remembering our wedding night when my father came knocking at my bedroom door demanding I open the door for him and demanding what Nicolas was doing in my bedroom. He had a glass too many at the reception and my mother with my brother who was laughing came to the rescue.

Nicolas nuzzled my neck, his lips feathering kisses on my skin, sending hot shivers through my body. It had been a long day, but I was never tired to be with him.

"Are you going to keep me in suspense? Or should I torture you to speak."

"It depends what you have in mind for torture." I smiled slowly, burying my hands in his hair as he lowered himself in front of me, his lips kissing my stomach.

He looked up at me his silvery eyes searching.

"Are we having another child, Leah?"

I felt warm all over, my fingers in his silky hair held him tightly.

"Yes...I'm six weeks pregnant. We are pregnant." I whispered to him. The joy on his face clogged my throat as he pressed his lips on my stomach which was still flat.

"When did you find out?"

"When you left for New York and I only kept it from you because I didn't want you to fret like you did when I got pregnant with Raya."

Nicolas pressed his head to my abdomen murmuring words to our little baby. He rose and he picked me up effortlessly in his arms and took me to the bed. He pulled at his t-shirt and shoved his pants down. He laid beside me gathering me in his arms.

"What did the doctor say?" He demanded his lips feathering kisses on my neck and jaw, "Are you feeling alright? Are you having any morning sickness?"

I shook my head, sighing with pleasure.

"I'm fine and so is the baby." I told him kissing his jaw.

"I love you."

"I love you too." My heart is full of love for this man. He is everything to me. He is my husband, my best friend, my rock. I am lucky. I am blessed.
