Really impressed about the twisted image of my dreams, I woke up almost falling from the bed. It was already ten o'clock, I had slept almost all morning. It wasn't a really good start. I didn't had a lot of time here in Red Cliff, I thought I should hurry up. Trying my hardest not fall in the hallway while I was dressing, I came downstairs.

I didn't have a good breakfast, actually, I didn't even have one. I put on my really hot jacket and got ready to go behind the killer that had destroyed my family. I was ready, I felt ready, I was going to do it by myself and nobody could interfere with that. Really confident about what I was going to do, I put the key on the door to unlock it, but when I saw who was behind it, all my plans were quickly thrown into the sewers.

"Uncle Sebastian!?" I almost screamed on his face. "The hell you're doing here!?"

My uncle Sebastian was mom's older brother. He didn't used to come very frequently since he lived in Ireland, in fact, I think the last time I saw him I was seven or so. I had only seen him a couple of times, but those were enough to make me hate him. He always made fun of me and called me names, and he wasn't just any "handsome" either. He looked nothing like mom. He was bald, and very tall, with brown dull eyes, but mom had blonde hair, was short and had bright, cheerful, green eyes, like me and Diana. Uncle Sebastian always thought he could act like my dad around me just because I never actually had a father. I hated it.

My uncle laughed. "What a nice way to say hello, kiddo." A malicious smile came to his face" Dang, look at that, you're even shorter than I remember... you were seven back then, right?"

"Shut the hell up, old man!" I shouted back at him. "And get off my yard, I have to do some stuff that someone like you would not understand".

Just when I was about to go past by him, he suddenly grabbed me by my wrist so hard that I almost fell, it felt as if my small bones were breaking into pieces. Although, he did not seem to put the least effort on it. Instead of letting me go because of the look on my face, he grabbed my arm even higher than before and made my feet let go of the floor. Why was he so damn big and strong?!

"Let me go, you big idiot, or I swear I'm going to-!" before I could finish my sentence, he placed his hand on my mouth.

"Listen kiddo, listen very carefully, I am the one who's going to find the killer, and you are just going to help me, occasionally."

Rage filled my chest, how could this guy just come and tell me what to do as if I was just a four year old? "Why should I do that?!"

He smiled again, although, it was more of a smirk than a smile. "Do you have a car? Do you have any friends here? Do you even have some money to spend in this godforsaken investigation? Because you're obviously not getting any backup nor help from the cops."

He was right, even if it was really humiliating to accept it... he was right. I kept quietly looking to the floor that my feet could not touch yet, just wondering about what was going to happen before that. Finally, he released my wrist and my uncle stared at me with the same malicious smile from before.

"Well, let's start searching, shall we, sidekick?" He whispered in a tone that made me really mad.

I didn't know why, but he wanted to search inside the house first. He basically destroyed everything, just because he was searching for a clue, or that's what he told me. I couldn't stop him, so I decided to just go inside Diana's room again, while he did all his childish mess. Like the night before, I grabbed the teddy bear and held it tight against my chest, somehow deeply wishing for my death sister to come to get it.

"Diana... how about we play tea party...? I know that's your favorite..." I mumbled for myself. "Or we could go for an ice cream... strawberry flavored with chocolate chips..." I kept waiting for a response. "Maybe we can go to the park... I'll push you on the swings... you could touch the sky with your feet, it feels like flying..."
