Did You Hear The Whistling Whisper?


Did you hear the whistling whisper?
It rang through the night.
The sweet sound of mans voice,
Such lovingness and light .
He walked through the river,
His face full of delight.

Did you hear the whistling whisper? Was it in the night?

Did you hear the whistling whisper?
It was clear as the water
But when you turned away from it, it got much harder.
Harder to hear, Harder to feel.
Like a string that pulled you back and makes you kneel 

Did you hear the whistling whisper?
So loud and bold.
It came from the young man.
And it traveler through the old.
A whistle So great,
It could keep up a hold
Because the whistling whisper, could only be told,
That when you give up on the whisper, You lose your hold
