Thunderclap Arrow

"So you have a lightning affinity." Killer B stated.  "You don't know many lightning jutsu do you?"  Sasuke nodded.  "Well then, it's time I teach you yo.  I'm gonna show you one that I like.  It's called thunderclap arrow yo."

"Sounds like a plan." Sasuke stated.  B grinned and did a weird pose. 

"Yeah!" He cheered.  Sasuke narrowed his eyes at B. 

"Seriously?" He asked.

Sakura made her way to the market, a shopping bag in hand.  Sasori had requested that she retrieve a few items while she was out.  Temari, Gaara, and Kankuro were following her from a distance.  Once she arrived she stood up straight and began to scan over the villagers, looking for someone.  Not spotting them, Sakura let her shoulders drop dejectedly and she sighed.  Decided to get the items Sasori asked for, she walked over to the stands. 

"Hey!" She heard someone shout.  She turned her head to the side and saw a familiar pair of green eyes.  Furai.  "Aiko right?" He asked.  Sakura nodded slowly. 

"Yeah.  You're Furai.  Right?" She asked.  Furai nodded eagerly. 

"Yeah!  Last time I saw you, your friend took you away." He claimed putting his hands in his pockets.  Sakura nodded.

"Sorry about that.  We had to be at a friends house and she didn't want to be late." Sakura lied smoothly.  Furai nodded in understanding.  "Um, I'm not supposed to be out for long Furai-san.  So maybe we can talk another day." Sakura said.  Furai grinned. 

"I'm free tomorrow." He offered.  Sakura pursed her lips. 

"I can't tomorrow," She claimed.  "I've got stuff to do these next few days.  But I'm free three days from now!" She saw Furai tense.  She saw how his jaw, by only a little bit, clenched.  It was there for only a second but she saw the signs. 

"Yeah." Furai said after a minute.  "Sure.  I'll see you then." He muttered walking off.  Once he was out of sight, Temari was by Sakura's side and Sakura nodded. 

"One of the next few days." Sakura confirmed.

"Here, come inside." Jiraiya offered stepping aside, unintentionally revealing Naruto. 

"Naruto?" Pakkun asked.  Naruto grinned sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. 

"Heeeeyyyyy Pakkuuuunn." Naruto dragged out.  "How's it going?"  The dog rolled his eyes at Naruto's antics. 

"Two in just a couple of weeks.  Kakashi'll get a kick out of this."  Pakkun mumbled to himself.  Naruto's eyes widened at the claim and he begun to wave his arms.

"Hold on!  What do you mean two?" He asked Pakkun. 

"Kakashi ran into Sasuke on his mission to Kumogakure." Pakkun stated while Naruto gaped.  Jiraiya watched the interaction with a raised eyebrow. 

"Kakashi-sensei?  Is he here with you?" Naruto asked excitedly.  Pakkun sighed.

"No.  He summoned me and filled me in on what I needed to do.  He had his own mission he needed to finish.  I'm supposed to meet up with him on the way back to Konoha." Pakkun claimed.  Naruto visibly deflated and Jiraiya walked inside to write down the information Pakkun requested.  When Naruto had saw why Jiraiya left, he immediately turned to ask Pakkun more questions.

"How could you find us?  Jiraiya told me that they made sure to stay hidden from Konoha." Naruto claimed.  Pakkun sighed. 

"Would you believe it if I told you that I was lucky." Naruto gave the ninja hound a pointed look.  "I picked up your scent and I got curious because there were a lot of people looking for you, but your not making it a point to hide.  So I followed it and I got led to Jiraiya." Pakkun explained. 

"So my scent was just out there?" Naruto asked.  Pakkun nodded.  "That's weird though.  Nobody else has approached me other than you."

"Maybe it's because I'm more used to your scent like I am Kakashi."  Pakkun suggested which Naruto agreed with wholeheartedly.  It was a fact that Pakkun was like the pet of team seven.  Kakashi had summoned Pakkun so many different times, the whole group loved the little hound as if he were their own. 

"Yeah.  You're right." Naruto mumbled.  Jiraiya came up behind Naruto with a scroll and held it to Pakkun.  Pakkun nodded to Jiraiya and took the scroll in his mouth.  He dropped it on the ground so he would be able to speak. 

"I'll see you Naruto.  Jiraiya, Minato would like you to know that you three are welcome back whenever you want to return.  Hiruzen misses you." Jiraiya pursed his lips and Pakkun quickly began to speak before Jiraiya turned him down.  "It's been years Jiraiya." Naruto didn't miss the cautious glance Jiraiya sent his way.  "With the way things are going now, Konoha might need you three to come back, whether you want to or not." Pakkun said before looking to Naruto.  "I'll tell Kakashi you said hi." Naruto nodded distractedly, throwing curious glances at Jiraiya.  Pakkun picked up the scroll in his mouth and began to run off.

"Deidara.  Where have you been?"  A deep voice asked catching the attention of the ex-Iwa ninja.  "You were supposed to be here a day ago."

"Un.  I was repaying a favor.  Besides, this could wait." Deidara claimed causing his partner to roll his eyes.  "In fact, I told him we would help him."

"Deidara!  Don't go promising things!  We're supposed to be in Kirigakure by next week." His partner growled.  Deidara shrugged. 

"Well rumor has it that the Sand village is supposed to be attacked in the next couple of days and most of their ANBU are gone.  Apparently the soon to be Kazekage made a deal with the guy planning to attack the village un." Deidara claimed.

"Who is this soon to be Kazekage?"

"Teki Tsuyoi." Deidara said with venom.  Deidara's partner snarled at the name.  Looking to his side he growled. 

"And who is your informant?"

"Sasori Akasuna." Deidara nodded to the Sand Village.  "He's in the village right now I assume.  He was in bad shape when I helped him in Oto un."  Deidara's partner nodded. 

"I'll contact Kisame and tell him that we'll be a little late.  I'm sure he'll understand." The partner said.  Deidara grinned opening his hands to reveal some clay figures. 

"This will be fun un." Deidara's partner rolled his eyes.

"Tsuyoi's mine." His partner declared.  Deidara's eyes widened and he dropped the clay figure when he jumped to stand up straight. 

"Zabuza, that's not fair!" Deidara claimed.  Zabuza gave Deidara a look and the ex-Iwa nin sighed exasperatedly. 

"I'd like to see you fight me for it."

Deidara grinned.

NaruHina is a definite, but I could go back and edit some chapters and cancel the whole SasuSaku thing if you guys want.

Next chapter might be late.  I'm on vacation so I haven't been focusing on this much.
