Y/N stared out the window that was near her desk. She was bored out of her mind because she had finished all of her reports. The desk was covered in random papers, some finished reports that she had to turn in but was too lazy, and a few doodles she did while working on said reports. Suddenly, a slam on her desk made her jump; she turned to see where it was coming from.

"Oh my god Hank," Y/N said, putting her hand over her heart and exhaling. "You scared the living daylights out of me," She chuckled lightly and looked at him but quickly frowned to see him scowling.

"What the fuck is that?" He asked, pointing to the man that was standing at his desk. She tilted her head in confusion and shrugged. She hadn't seen the man come over due to her daydream state. She started to organize her desk while talking.

"I don't know, Hank; I didn't see them come over. Does Fowler know?" She asked, taking a stack of papers, straightening them into a neat pile, and putting them in an organizer while shoving her meaningless doodles into the trash beside her desk.

"Hell, if I know," Hank replied, looking over to Fowler's office and giving a slight scowl. Fowler and Hank never really had a good relationship, as they were always on the rocks with each other. Y/N only sighed and finished her quick desk neatness check, turning to Hank.

"Go talk to them then," She said, rolling her eyes like it was apparent that he should have done that in the first place. Hank only groaned and returned to his desk, confronting the person who seemed to be calm while Hank called them out for everything ever made and blamed it on them. Ahh, classic Hank, and his weird tendencies.

Y/N returned to work, scrolling through her computer files and looking at old photos of her and her dog, Kona. She was a toy Aussie that had beautiful blue eyes. Y/N sighed and continued to look through other files, such as ones of her friends and her family. She was in the middle of scrolling through some old family photos when a voice snapped her out of her trance.

"Detective L/N?" The voice said. She turned to face the man from before. He wore a Cyberlife jacket, and she could already tell why Hank was mad. She nodded, let out a short hum, and turned to the Android standing politely in front of her. He had brown hair and pretty chocolate eyes.

"That's me," she said, leaning back in her chair and taking his appearance in again. She had a smile on her face that the Android took in while he scanned her.

"I'm Connor, an android sent by Cyberlife. I'm here to assist you and Lieutenant Anderson on your next cases," Connor said, straightening his tie and flashing her a smile back. Y/N sat up in her chair and nodded, running a hand through her hair and chuckling.

"Nice to meet you, Connor. Heads up, I'm nicer than the old fart you met earlier," she flashed him a smile that paired with a wink. Connor didn't understand who the 'old fart' was until Hank piped up with a growl in his tone.

"I'm not an old fart, L/N!" This caused Y/N to start laughing as she put her head near her knees and gasped for air as she pretended to wipe tears from her eyes, being dramatic. Connor watched her, confused. He didn't understand how that was found funny but didn't say anything. Once Y/N had finished her laughing, she looked up at Connor, her hair slightly messy from the very professional way it was in moments before.

"Sorry Connor just had to get that out," She slowly fixed her hair and grinned. She hadn't laughed like that in a while. It felt good to let loose from the very tense office that she worked in. She turned to see Gavin looking at her with a glare, obviously confused. She would have to confront him later.

"It's fine, Detective," Connor replied, looking at Y/N intently, once again scanning her. Her heart rate was up. It was due to her laughing like a manic moment before. "Your heart rate is very high," He added.

"That's normal," She replied. "Now, I have to work. Go talk to Hank about the next mission. He might have some good context on whats going on in the next case,"

Connor nodded and headed over to the Lieunenats desk, where Hank cussed him out and gave him a few details while being the brutal man he was. Y/N returned to work, thinking about the new addition to the office. It was going to be fun to mess with him.

Author's Note: Hey guys! I am still alive, not dead. I got bored tonight and decided to revamp this chapter a little bit since it was the most loved. I'm going to edit the second and third parts tomorrow! Feel free to comment if you need anything else!
