3rd person's point of view
"Again... if Jeon Jungkook didn't show himself up here then sadly he's going to be disqualified as written in the rules of this contest."
Lisa looked around worriedly searching for him. She was now thinking if she was just imagining Jungkook when she saw him there at the back of the crowd.
She was now with her oppas and eonnies, same with Chaeyoung and Jimin, she went to them with different complements showered on her by different people mostly she didn't really know while she was on her way to her friends, her heart was fluttering in appreciation. She was welcomed by a tight hug by her friends, some were teasing her because she hid the fact that she can dance. Jisoo hit her head, Jennie kissed her cheeks, Yoongi smiled proudly, Namjoon and Jin pat her head, Hoseok and Taehyung hugged her while they were jumping.
"Where is that kid?" Yoongi asked annoyed.
Jennie hit his shoulder, "Chill. He'll make it here."
"His ass is about to get disqualified though." he just said and crossed his arms, Jennie just laughed while looking at him.
"I kept on calling him but his phone is off." Jimin said with a frown.
Lisa looked at him but decided to keep silent.
"We went here with him, where did he even go?" Hoseok said while looking around.
Taehyung who has his arm around her shoulder tapped his foot on the ground repeatedly, "How about we search for him hyung?" he asked them worriedly.
Lisa sighed, "I... I saw him. I think, I don't know. I mean, I saw him watching me at the back. He was hidden a little but I know it's him." she finally said.
They all looked at her making her gulped.
Jennie, Jimin and Yoongi smiled secretly when they heard that.
Namjoon sighed, "Then where is he? He should be here by now."
They jumped on their spot when they heard the MC speak again, "5...4...3...2"
"I'm here."
They let go of the breath they didn't notice they were all holding when they saw their maknae was half running to the stage.
Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Remind me to hit that kid after this."
They all just laughed and then cheered for Jungkook. The MC told him that there will be some deduction on his final result for him showing up late. He just nodded his head and positioned himself at the center.
The audience went wild the moment he stepped on the stage. Lisa smiled sadly, she suddenly remembered how famous he really was. More reasons for her to feel that he is really out of her reach. She saw how girls shouted their lungs out just to show their support to him. She nearly forgot that fact because when he was with her, he acted so stupid and all.
