Chapter 25

Lexi's pov
I was searching and searching for shoes. It took everyone except for Jack and Izzy forever to find some. They found their's and decided to take Kayce home. I told Izzy on the way home that we would pick up some dog things. They left the happy couple they are. I want something like what they have. And at that time I was thinking that, I saw this cute boy walk into the store. I smacked Kats leg. "What?" She hissed. "Look!" I pointed to the guy. "Eh. I've seen better." She pointed to Zach. I rolled my eyes. I got up to go talk to him. But I chickened out. I called Izzy.
Izzys pov
L: Izzy help!
I: What's wrong?
L: Cute boy just walked in!
I: (laughs and looks at Jack. Jack bites his lip). Tell me what he looks like.
L: Um really dark tan skin color. Light chocolate brown eyes. Black hair. And two inches shorter than me.
I: Wow. What a man.
L: I know! He is to die for!
I: I know that feeling. (Looks at Jack. He is blushing.)
L: Let me guess, Jack?
I: Yes. Go talk to him. He won't bite.
L: Okay. I'll tell you how it goes.
I: Okay go! (Ends call)
Lexi's pov
Okay. I take a deep breath. I stall for a few minutes. Trying to prepare for the worst. I go walk over to him.
L: Hi. My name is Lexi.
J: Well hi there Lexi. I am Jackson
L: (Omg he has a country accent) Nice to meet you. The reason why I came over to talk to you is because I thought you are really cute and that we should go out sometime. Maybe if you would like. Gosh I'm so weird right now. I am so sorry.
J: Hey. Don't worry about it. I think you are really cute too. Here. This is my number, I hope to see you again. Maybe a coffee or movie date.
L: Same here.
Jackson left after our talk. It's like he came in here just to talk to me. I am so happy right now! My heart is melting from his accent. I ran back to everyone. "Woah. Someone has heart eyes!" Zoe said. "I do! I have heart eyes!" I sigh happily. "What happened?" Jonah asked. "So I saw this cute guy walk in right. And I went to go talk to him. And he gave me his number and wants to go on a date!" I say. Everyone nods impressed. I put his number in my pocket. "Alright. We have to go get some puppy things for Kayce." I said. Everyone grabbed their shoes and we went to go pay. I took twenty minutes to get through everyone. The main reason was because us girls bought so many dresses and we need shoes to go with them. Ugh, sometimes being a girl sucks. After we finished, we went to walk around the mall. We all paired up with a buddy. But since there are three girls and four boys, someone had to have to buddies. Jonah took me and Zach. We all went walking around, talking about the most random things we could. We passed by a floral shop. I dragged my boys in. I hunted for Izzys favorite. "Lexi come here. I found them." Jonah said. I hurried to find him. I found Jonah, and there they were. The last blue rose they had. Jonah picked it up. "We are getting this for Izzy and something for Jack." He went to go pay. I called Zach with us. "Hey what does Jack like?" I asked. "So many things. Me and Jonah will think of one." Zach said. I nodded my agreement. He smiled and jabbed me in the ribs. "Ow! Zach what was that for?!" I yelled. "Your boyfriend is here!" He grabbed Jonah and went to the back of the store. I looked around and saw Jackson with three other boys. They were all pushing and shoving each other. Jackson caught my eye and smiled. I smiled back. He talked to his friends before coming into the store. God I wish I didn't have to be so weird all the time. "Hey Lexi. Funny seeing you here." Jackson said. Mental note, I'm dying from his accent. "Hey Jackson. It really is funny seeing you here. Um.." I trailed off. I couldn't think of anything to say. I looked out the window and saw his friends doing some gross gestures. I mentally gagged. I think Jackson sensed it because he turned around. His friends noticed and stopped. Then they ran. "Sorry about that Lexi. But I have to go so I can beat their butts. Nice seeing you again." He turned and ran out the store. I fell back but two sets of arms caught me. "Not today Lexi. We have to shop for Jack and Kayce. Lets go." Zach said. I followed them out of the store, but I was daydreaming. Zach fell back and looped his arm around mine. He dragged me to catch up with Jonah. This dude has long legs and it kills me. We finally found a store for Jack. I guess they wanted to get him a new sweater. They bought three. One for Jack, and one of those king and queen ones. Awww, couple goals. We hurried out so we can get home soon. We went left the mall. I told Zoe that they had to call an uber. We did too though, because Jack had the other set of keys. As we waited, I did see the jeep. I guess we are going to have to come back later and get it. Our uber arrived and we put everything in the trunk we told the person to go to the closest pet store. We had an argument over who is paying. The boys won but I tipped the guy. We went inside and got a bed, little cage area, toys, food, treats, brush, shampoo and conditioner, blanket, tooth brush and toothpaste. We got it all. We payed and went back out to our Uber. We told him Izzys address. He drove us there and we payed him again and tipped him. We had so much trouble geting all the bags in. We decided to take more than one trip. On our first trip, once we entered, we saw Izzy curled up against Jack on the couch. Kayce was on Izzys chest. I looked to the tv, and see sherlock gnomes playing. I elbowed Zach. "What was-" I cut him off by covering his mouth. I put my finger to my lips. I pointed to the couch. His eyes followed. He nodded. We continued to bring in our things. We silently closed the door. We layed out the dog treas and toys on the table, and put up the little caged area. We layed out the bed and went to our rooms to put away our things. I left my room after putting away my shoes. I arrived to the kitchen and looked for food to eat. I grabbed my stash of cookies. I shared with Jonah and Zach. Zoe was the first one in. And the loudest. I dropped my cookie I was eating. I ran to the couch. I was too late. Zoe had woke Izzy up. Kayce jumped to Jack, and Izzy got up. She glared at everyone, except for the boys in the kitchen and I, then she stormed into the kitchen and grabbed her cookies. Then she walked upstairs. She slammed her door. That scared Kayce and woke up Jack. "What happened?" He yawned. I looked to everyone, telling them not to tell Jack about Izzy. "Nothing." We all said at once. We laughed. "Where is Izzy?" He asked. "We don't know. We got home and she was gone." I said. Jacks phone dinged. He looked at it. Then he glared at everyone. "So you lied to me?!" He yelled. Then he ran upstairs to Izzy. "Okay. Bad idea about not telling him. We need to give them their things." Jonah said. I nodded and we went upstairs to Izzys room. It was locked. We all knocked. "What?" Izzy barked. "We have something for you guys." Everyone said. Jack opened her door. He went back to sit next to Izzy on her bed. "Jonah go ahead." I pushed him forwards. "This is for you Izzy." He handed her the rose. I shoved Zach forwards. "This is for you Jack." Zach gave him the sweater. "Now this is for both of you." I stepped forward and gave them the sweaters. Izzy had Jack open them. Izzy snuggled into his side. "Thanks guys. We really appreciate our things." Jack said. "You're welcome. We also got Kayce a few things." I said. "Thanks a lot guys. You have really helped." Jack said. Izzy fell back asleep curled next to Jack. We nodded and left. Man, tomorrow is going to be a huge challenge. I sat down on an arm rest. I decided to go for a night swim. I ran to my room and got changed. Iswiped a towel from the bathroom. I slipped out the back door. I set my phone up to my Bluetooth speaker I brought. 5 seconds of summer immediately came on. I jumped in. The water felt cool against my skin. I paddle around for a bit. Then I just floated with my pool noodle. I must have fallen asleep. Because I woke up in my bed. I turned on my lamp. Someone put towels down on my bed, trying to save it from getting soaked. I was wrapped in my robe. I checked the time. It was one in the morning. I fell back against my bed. I got up and shuffled into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and grabbed a watermelon gatorade. I popped the lid off and took a drink. I closed the fridge and went to head back to bed. "Holy crap you friggen scared me!" I screamed. "Sorry. I couldn't sleep and came down for food." Izzy said. "It's fine. It's also going to be a long day so we need to go to bed. Grab your food." She grabbed her food and I walked her back to bed. I stayed until I  heard her soft snores. Then I went to my bed. I fell asleep instantly. Wow, and it's already begining.
