Jordan's P.O.V

Clearly the weather felt his mood.

Jordan didn't want to remember today, or anything for that matter. It sucked that he had to deal with all this crap when he was little when his mum passed away, and now this? 10 years old and his father... his best friend...gone.

The rain poured around him, while the orphanage caretaker had a hand on him holding him with a tight on his shoulder, and the other held up the umbrella that gave cover from the rain. He looked towards the two police men, standing in front of his house in their Mianite uniform, the blue and red lights illuminating from their car was the only thing lighting up the night.
He could see the coroner pushing the stretcher... with a body bag. A tear rolled down his cheek,  he lost both of them now, there's no family left, nowhere to go, he felt... alone, lost, scared, and a mix of other emotions that he couldn't understand. He felt exhausted, he didn't want to do this anymore.

He knew his life would change forever, even if it wasn't how he thought it was going to be.

7 Years Later...

Tomorrow is the day. The day I could leave this hell-hole and finally belong somewhere, either with Mianite or Dianite, he didn't care which one, but he was hoping just a bit more for Mianite, most people there seemed friendly so he knew he'd like it there.

He got off his bed (if you could call it that) and got ready for the day, putting on his red sunglasses and clothes that were much too baggy for him on and left his room. He walked straight past everyone in the orphanage, not that anyone spoke to him anyway, and avoided the caretaker Ms. Carperfield. He knew she would try to stop him, insult him, or take any of his possessions that he may get, but the one thing she can't take was his glasses.

The day that his father had passed, he was asked if he wanted to go and retrieve anything from inside. He went in with one of the police guards and went straight to his father room and took only two things; his dads red glasses and a photo of Jordan and his dad (which Ms. Carperfield doesn't know about). It was of his dad giving me a piggy back ride, both looking like the happiest people in the world.
This photo was taken two months before he was murdered.

No one believed Jordan that his father, Gabriel Sparkles, was killed, just that it was an extremely unfortunate occurrence as he didn't have a single wound on his body and their wasn't any sign of anyone or anything entering or tampering with the house, so the police guards told him it was just a traumatic experience, which he didn't believe. Not once.

He walked out of the orphanage, the cold air and fog surrounded him, still early in the morning he took the long route to school, to have one last look around the area before he's taken to the Mianite or Dianite home bases, where he can feel accepted by the people around him.

When he finally reached Mianite High he saw a few people moving in that early in the morning. He walked past everyone looking down, not wanting to engage in any conversation and headed straight for the library, where he could be alone with his thoughts... and with the books.

He went to the back and grabbed one of the books off the shelves titled "Era of the Gods: Volume 1" which he assumed no one had read in years, from the amount of dust that covered the front of the book, he went and sat on the table, hoping this book would be interesting enough to pass the time, and in seconds he  immersed himself in the book.

'Millions of years ago the universe existed with nothing but two entities, Chaos and Order, both of whom were considered brothers, but are unsure with no evidence towards this. They existed for Millenia to themselves enjoying each other's company, but soon, one brother, Chaos, wanted more, everything seem too perfect, too simple. As a primordial being, with a snap of his fingers the universe exploded with colours and thus life was created.
Stars, planets, solar systems, created from nothing, was a beauty do great that even Chaos himself was amazed. As his being and power is to create chaos, so the beauty he created, also had a destructive side, black holes, meteors, death, was ironically created as well.
Chaos was able to keep black holes, and meteors in space, but death was the only thing he couldn't control, Stars, planets, organisms, died, leaving a mark, a stain on his supposedly "perfect creation".
When Order found out what Chaos had done, he just but destroyed everything he created. Order wanted perfection, and the universe had become a large thorn is his side to him.
Thus a war was started, leading to many cosmic catastrophes; solar systems destroyed, which took a large toll on Chaos, who's life essence was poured into what he created, and new this was not a war he could win, but stop to keep his legacy alive.
He had he trapped Order in a Chaos Cell, impossible to break out of, and with the remaining life he had, he split his soul, sending it down to the only planet that could sustain life, Earth.
He faded from existence, while his souls landing on Earth, and created the gods that we know today, Mianite and Dianite.
